Get these type of calls everyday...don't answer because I don't recognize the numbers.  These calls are nothing but BULLS**T so why would I answer them!!!

I have 5 calls yesterday from this number, anwers  the first 2, they hand off, no answer the next calls, and today they are calling again, what a terrorist people!!!!:(

I got a phone call from 409 291 5191  6/11/12 . The man coult not speak very clear english. He asked me to verify my name,address and phone number.  He read if off to me and asked if that was correct.  I said yes.  then he asked the name of my bank. I gave him a no and no way was I going to do that.  He told me all seniors were going be sent a new social security card and he wanted me to give him the name of my bank to verify my SS number.  It was a land line in Texas...

My neighbor received a call stating they were from Medicare! Looking for ss  and banking info...when she refused they pit her on with a "supervisor"...

I got a call telling me they were sending me a new medical card. they wanted to verify my address.Then ask for the name of my bank. I hung up. It was an Asian sounding man.

This call came from Beaumont, TX. A lady with a thick accent wanted my address so she could send me a new Medicare card. I told her that Medicare will send one out when I need one and she hung up.
To me it had SCAM written on it.

unbelievable? couldnt even understand the lady? nothings wrong with my computer and they WOULDNT HANG UP!!!! Next time they called i picked up the phone and hung up :P

This number is also calling elderly people and offering them a new medicare card. They are very rude and demanding. When they were hung up on, they called back several times. Thanks to caller id, we did not answer the phone again.

This company also tries to pose as DHS and said that they were going to change the MediCare cards and that they needed her bank account information to confirm her id. These people are nothing but scam artist and fraudulent theives!

they had name address zip and obviously phone
were requesting bank information---called sheriff's office

More likely the scammers are spoofing Tazcoms' phone number.  It's easy enough to do and Tazcom are likely not to catch on until their DJ business starts to drop off.

If these people have strong accents it's highly probable they're calling from overseas. The Do Not Call list won't matter to them at all.

I just received a call from this # telling me they were calling from Social Security Ofc in our town. He said he needed my address because all medicare people were getting new cards. He spoke with such a heavey accent I keep asking him he said. I hung up. As many of us are on the do not call list why are they callig us. They need to be reported but you can't seem to get it done. Anyone know how.

repeated my address to me ,said they have a medical card for me, and want to verify my Address and they went on to ask me questions about my bank ..and my Bank's name.I cussed them out and hung up.
Told them not to call me anymore..they are trying to Scam the elderly..

I, too, just got this call from an Asian-sounding man. When I demanded that he tell me who he represented, he hung up.

Called saying she was calling from Washington about the new Medicare card for seniors Washington was sending out.  She then asked for my Bank...I told her I didn't give out that information and hung up.

Received calls for the yellow page plus a fax. I don't have a listing in the yellow pages. At 3pm 7/12/12 I received a call from the same number, heavy accent stating I would be receiving a new card to go along with my medicare card. All seniors would be receiving this new card.He stated  my name and phone number and correct address. Then he said to be able to verify he was speaking to the right person he needed some banking info. I hung up on him. I'm sure there will be more calls. What is the use of the no call list. It doesn't work.
