A hangup call.  They are lucky they didn't reach me with this SCAM

Got a call this morning. Woman with heavy Indian accent said that she was notifying all people on Medicare of a card that is being mailed to them. She even had the numbers in my address although she didn't mention the street name. She was in the middle of asking me to provide something when I said, "I have no idea what you are talking about." and she hung up. After reading the other comments on calls from this telephone number, it sounds like they have a wide variety of scams.

not intestest in receiving these calls.  I call it harassment.

DON'T call me again.  It is hassament.

received call for  wife -- told them she dead they hung up

Foreign speaking male stated he had a new Medicare card to mail and needed to verify my address (which was correct).  He then needed to verify the name of my bank and asked for the name.  When I stated I already received my new Medicare card and he did not need to know the name of my bank, he hung up.  

Consider purchasing a land line phone with CALL BLOCK. . . more effective than complaining, and it stops these nuisance calls forever, once the number is input as such.

I work for a local police department.  This is a SCAM and DO NOT give them any information.  They are targeting older folks.  I would recommend call blocking the number right away.  Repeat, this is a SCAM.

Just got 3 calls from this number requesting social security number - saying they were from Medicare.  Also wanted that number.  SCAM!!!  Someplace in Beaumont, TX.  Told them to put it in writing and blocked the call.

In this day and age, this is a landline number and you think they could be found in a minute.  Why don't the police arrest these people?  Beaumont TX isn't like Jamaica or a throw away cell phone.

I just had a call from 409-291-5191 telling me that all seniors are getting new medical cards.  I asked "why" and was told that all are getting a new card, wanted to verify my address.  I told him I thought this was a scam and that I would not speak with him any more and hung up.

this one was from a very foreign accent.  Wanted info on my medicare - mispronounced my last name, and when I  told him no one here by that name hung up.

Caller said was from medicare and wanted to send a new card but needed to verify bank information.  Said if I did not verify information I would lose my benefits.

My mother just received a call from this number.  The caller ID listed it as Unknown Name.  The man, with a very heavy Indian accent, told her she was getting a new Medicare card.  She asked why and he stated everyone was getting one that receives Social Security.  Then she asked him where he was calling from and he hung up.  Everyone please be careful!!!

A friend received a call this morning from this number. The caller, who had an accent, said that new medicare cards were being sent out and he had to verify the bank account number. My friend told him that she did not have her check book handy, he then said he would wait while she got it. She told him that, better yet, why don't you read off the number you have. At that point, he hung up on her. Obviously a scam.

Attacking our elderly! This non english speaking person is trying to scam our elderly. Asks for SS# and bank account information and calls repeatedly.

They have called me twice today. on the second call when I told them it was a scam the man cussed me out and hung up.

My mother received a call from this phone number.  At her age, she was a bit confused.  I had previously been hospitalized with a brain anuerysm and it scared her to death to get a call from a company (Medical Center) in Beaumont identifying themselves as the Medical Center.  She thought something had happened to me medically.  thought she was going to have a heart attack.   It appears that this number has also been used by Yellow Pages.  The person was very hard to understand according to my mother.  My mother called me immediately to make sure I was ok and not hospitalized.  This needs to stop.  Did the hospital "sell" their "list" for soliciation.  Not right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number - strong male accent said he was from Medicare, and all females were going to be issued new cards.  He wanted to verify my current mailing address.

I am on the national do not call list. Reading the 800 notes from other customers put me on alert for this number so I blocked this caller on my phone over a month ago. However, that does not prevent the number from ringing my phone once before it stops. This number called me today 9 times in one hour. Harassment takes on yet another level...
