got a call today from this number.
Funny thing, caller ID said one number, but the person leaving the message, which was garbled and sounded like it was a recording, left a different nummber entirely and seemed to fuzzy up a couple of the numbers, so not a complete number was left.

caller ID listed number as 410-774-8194, but the doofus garble can lady said if I had any questions regarding the call to dial 4**-505-647-9***

This number called and did not leave a message. I called back and it was a garbled voicemail.

Received call from 410-774-8194.  I have been receiving the same calls everyday. Different times,  Obviously someone trying to rattle doors to see if anyone is home so they can vandalize or burlarize the neighborhood

They called yesterday and again today. A computer voice said the call was from my cable company. I don't have a cable company so I hung up.

Receive multiple calls daily , with no one on the other end. I've actually called the number, which immediately sends me to a recorded voice message " Thank you for call Prestige Enterprises" blah , blah, blah.... I have had enough of this irritating nuisance! What scam is this?

Get calls multiple times a day from this number.  The Caller ID says SIMPERIAN MKT.  I have no idea who they are.

It's Cox wanting to sell you you either a phone plan or internet or more cable crap.  I told them I wasn't interested and to please be taken off their call list and they haven't called back for weeks now.

These jerks call at least one a day, sometimes more. Most of the time they leave no message but every once in a while some [***] will leave a message just saying "Hello" I finally called the number back and it was from Cox. I left a message complaining for them to stop calling and if they needed to talk to me then leave a real message. Then I got a call the next day and they left a message asking for me by name then hung up. I have now started calling them several times a day leaving messages about how stupid they are but no one ever answers. They are starting to really piss me off.

They are calling again don't tell them any information. PHONE SPAMERS

Caller said that I received a call from Cox. Didn't say anything else. I hung up.

I got this call and have in the past.  Same as other callers.  No message left.

I am registered in the National Do Not Call Registry database and I receive calls constantly from this company-every day of the week and all hours of the day. "Maryland" usually displays on my caller id and I'm assuming its totally bogus! I'm tired of seeing "Maryland" call me! It is no doubt a solicitor or a collector on the $50 medical bill that I was mistakenly billed and should not have been for. I just filed a complaint on this # in the National Do Not Call Registry database and recommend that everyone else that is plagued with this caller do the same. Called this morning.  Said Simperian Mktg.  I didnt answer it.   First time I've seen this one on ID.

Called at Noon today.  First said they were offering Showtime movie channel for Direct TV subscribers. I said I had Cox cable so the pitch changed to offering me Showtime on Cox.  The background noise sounds like a hundred telemarketers.  They wanted to argue with me when I said I wasn't interested. The deal was $5/month for six months then regular price. I had one of these six month specials before and trying to cancel it was difficult. CID: Simperian Mktg

Got a call from them yesterday & today. I answered the one today and after a few moments of silence someone came on and asked "can I speak to John or Jane Doe (of course not our real names). I said "they don't live here anymore". They then asked to speak to whoever was in charge of the Cox account. I asked what she was calling about and she said "the Cox account". I hung up at that point.

I have Cox but it's obvious this is just some marketing company not affiliated with Cox.

I have received two calls from this number already.

"You are being contacted by your cable company (no specific cable company given), if you have questions regarding this call, please call (and they give a number I didn't catch), then it hangs up.

I'm guessing this is a poor attempt to get people to call the number they give, so they can try to sell you something. This is an end run attempt to circumvent the Do Not Call List, since no sales pitch is attempted during the original call (only if you call the number provided).

Just another example of people trying to cheat the system, for their own benefit.

Received call from Simperian Marketing today. I refuse to answer phone whenever I see these things. I receive too many recorded calls from companies like this about consolidating my debt, being pre-approved for credit cards, and extending my car warranty.

I've got quite a list of phone numbers that my phone doesn't ring for and immediately directs it to my voice mail.

Finally answered, they said they were with Cox. I hung up. Every other time they have called, I do not answer and they do not leave a message. My number on file with Cox is my home- not my cell.

They are from Cox and they want to sell you an upgrade on your cable service.
