Got a call from 410-774-8194 Monday June  7th at 8:42 PM. Doesn't ring through as not on my allowed list but goes to the answering machine. No one left any message. My Called ID said COX.  I do have Cox cable but from what I read here...this is just telemarketing people being annoying. Especially calling almost 9 PM.

get these idiots to stop calling my phone!

410 774-8194 called again (see my above message) only on June 17 at almost 9 PM again. It was set up to go to the answering machine and this time I saw a message was left. When I played it, a recording with a male voice said "regarding this call, call 1-575-647-96 "....at this point the recording was interrupted with a female live person voice who asked for my husband by name (our Cox account shows his name only)..then she started saying "Hello? Hello?". and hung up. Obviously they had set everything to call numbers and if there was an answer..to alert a live person who came on the line.  Again, Called ID said COX.  Now I have blocked it from the machine also so now when they call, they will get no answer at all and I blocked the whole 410 area code.  About the partial number....575 is the area code for New Mexico and the partial number was a match to call a restaurant to order take out.  The 410 area code in definitely Baltimore, Maryland. I am in the Pacific Time Zone.  I believe this is Cox selling their customer phone numbers and letting others badger customers to get additional services.

I got a call from this number just a few minutes ago, I am in Las Vegas Nevada and the guy told me they are from cox communications which is a phone, cable, and internet company. They are trying to upgrade customers with basic cable to digital boxes and giving a discount. Not sure if it is real or not though. The guy I spoke to was not rude at all tho he was very professional. This was the first time ive ever gotten a call from this number.

The name on my caller ID says SIMPERIAN MKTG for this number.  I have never been home to try to answer but they don't leave a message.

I have confirmed that the calls are coming from a company called Simperian marketing in Maryland.  Cox communications has HIRED them to harass their customers in to purchasing additional features.  They will not leave a message so that the customer will have difficulty determining the nature of the calls.  They are illegal if you are on the no call list, as I am.  I don't see the problem here as most do.  The simple and proper solution is to fight back in a manner than punishes Cox for their behavior.  Cancel all services with them.  Change internet providers and buy a dish.  Do what you have to do and make sure the bottom feeding scum bags know why you did it.  Make their moves backfire on them.  I will go without if need be before I allow them to torture me and also take my money.  I have hated Cox's guts for years, and this is the last straw.

This number is from a Financial Preditor when I call them to complain I get a message about it being a marketing (Financial Preditor) company. I left my number on two occasions asking them not to call and that my number is on the National Do-Not-Call list but it doesn't matter they are low lifes.

They "said" they were Cox cable employees. They "said" it was not a sales call. Then they "said" they could save me money if I buy something.

It is a scam.

Monopoly business doesn't exist to save you money.

I have received over 25 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. Caller ID says COX. I've tried answering to tell them to put me on their DO NOT CALL list. I've tried calling the number back, all I get is a computer message saying they are a marketing agency, to leave a message. I've left messages and have had no luck. They still keep calling at least 3 times a day, at all different times. Same place is using the number 702-997-2663. Driving me nuts!!!

Could be a dialer system calling, thus the delay and no one speaking.  

It's probably random calling - as no one has my real phone number except for family.  Not even the doc.

Caller ID  reads: SIMPERIAN MKTG.   Calls occur between 11am to 1pm.  I do not answer.
