This was an automated message reminding me about my doctor's appointment at UPMC Shadyside Family Health Center. It asked me to press 1 to confirm my appointment time.

Little girl keeps calling and finally she said shes lookin for her dad Todd. When I explained that I will get her and other people with her in trouble the adults in the back round said hang up hang up... Secound day in a row and I'm very pissed

This little kid keeps calling askin for her  dad, she keeps hanging up when I ask to speek to other people and when I said there can be harrasment charges pressed for this and a lady in the background kept saying hang up hang up. This started yesterday (saturday).. today is Sunday and I've received close to 30 calls. This needs to stop, someone needs to take care of their kid!!!!!! I believe the name the kid said was her name is Gavin and her dads name is tot or todd, I couldn't fully make it out. ease find out who this is and tell her parents to watch her!!!!!!!!!!!

No one here is affiliated nor is the board affiliated with these people. What you need to do is file a complaint with your phone service provider.   They should be able to block this number.  If its a cell phone, you may be able to download a blocking app for it, others have blocking already. If its a landline, Consider buying a call blocking device or phone..

I have already contacted upmc they said that number can come from any branch.. I believe it is the app for using a fake caller ID.. very annoying but thank you for your input :)

Every few months I get a couple of calls from this number...I hear a couple of low toned beeps and then it's dead air.  I've never been treated at UPMC...always figured it was an automated system.

Caller left a message reminding me of an appointment for UPMC. Matches what other people are describing as a general number for UPMC.

This is always from UPMC with an automated message about an upcoming appointment.  They will not leave a VM.  You can also confirm the appointment after the recording plays.  Very helpful reminder!

COuld not even understand the start of the phone message then I called the number on ID later heard it is in

This number has called SIX times today and they don't leave any message.  This is getting to be harassment!

Actually no it's not -- as long as they don't state what the appointment is in regard to, or what kind of doctor's office it is (OB/GYN, etc) it's not violating HIPPA. And most offices will ask you to sign a consent, if you're willing, to allow them to leave info about appointments and tests (etc) on your voicemail.

This is a legitimate phone messaging system from UPMC to remind me of an upcoming appointment.

Got a call that displayed as this number. It was supposedly a research firm looking to do a survey on... the public transit system in San Francisco (where I live), needing "a woman's point of view." Calling from a 412 number. Yeah, right. That's pretty unlikely.

I have been called twice in a row with this number, and seeing that it is an Upmc number, I have no association with this network other than my dentist. But he uses his own office line and not a generic phone number.

I got a call from this number at 9:42 pm on Saturday 3/19/16

Received call from this number but they left no message.  Called it back and it's the UPMC automated reminder line.  Trouble is, I have no affiliation with either UPMC or any of their providers.
