I have received 7 phone calls (only 1 from this number) and answered a few....all stating I applied for a loan. I said stop calling and I never applied for a loan. If I get any more calls today I will blow a whistle in their ear. I'm done with this nonsense.

I never answer unknown numbers, but they won't stop calling. How do we get them to stop?

Didn't answer, but this makes a connection between 415-358-0611 and a spam call I got the day before from 760-849-1323. I accidentally answered the one from 760 since that is a nearby area code and the guy wanted to know if I was interested in furthering my education. I told him I wasn't even remotely interested and he hung up. While his grammar and English were fairly good, there was an odd accent in his voice, and he was obviously working from a script. Spammer for sure, criminal most likely.

I received a call from this number. The recording claimed the loan I'd applied for had been approved. I had not applied for any loan. I pressed 1 to speak to a representative. When I asked him to take me off his call list, he hung up on me.

It sounds like the typical scam. Ignore any callers you aren't familiar with.

Call blocker might help.  The calls originate in India and Pakistan.   They are basically criminals.   You can't stop the calls from being initiated, but you can protect yourself to a degree by not answering numbers you do not recognize.

This number has left several messages, and all are so static-y that it's almost impossible to make out even whether it's live or a recording. But what little voice comes through sounds like a robodialer, not a live human.

Whoopee, the loan I never applied for, was approved ! Press 1 for more info, or Press 9 to never be called again, at which time a female says "hello". I reply "never call this # again, I don't care who you are, or what you are selling" Hangup !

Smart Cash Loans keeps calling me.  They say I have been approved for a loan.  I have NEVER applied for a loan with them or any other company like them.  The associates have thick accents and are very rude. One man called me a liar and said that I was Joanna Diaz.  I am NOT.

if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it...if it's important, like my bank trying to contact me, but using one of their many phone numbers, my voice mail says, "if you don't leave a message, I won't call you back."  If it is one of these prank calls or computer sales calls...they don't leave a msg, and I don't call them!

I just got a call from this number this morning; back to back. It was an automated voice message informing me that my loan from 'Cash One' has been approved. I hung up shortly after, then they called me about, but this time nothing was said and they ended the call on their side.

I got a call from them today. I pressed 9 to have my number removed, and a man answered anyway. He said "You cannot and willnot have your number removed" I  said please do not call me back. He then threatened me, claiming to have my address and social security number. I am in the process of trying to report him to authorities. His name is Mike.

I am so sick of receiving these calls. I have registered my number with the Do Not Call but it doesn't seem to stop these people from calling. I don't answer any calls from numbers that I don't know. 99% of them don't leave messages. I've gotten a couple that did leave a message saying they were with the IRS and they were sending the sheriff to arrest me if I don't make a payment. These people are all POS. Trying to take advantage of people and scam them out of their hard earned money because they are to lazy to get a real job.

Garbage telemarketing call for a payday loan…… told them to pound sand & They got upset & so I told them in a more unpleasant way again and then hung up
