- Katie replies to RickSo...where's the name and proof that you were on a show?
- happy client replies to stefanie| 3 repliesWhat kind of scam doesn't ask for any money? I got my talent cards done myself and sent them to Stefanie, I paid my own printing facility, I have never given HNE any money. They will get paid when they get me on a show, and there are no guarantees only that they will get you out there a lot better than on your own. If you look at the website you can see that they are endorsed by all of the major television networks and if that was not true don't you think they would be sued? So before you go and accuse them of being a scam you should have all the facts. Common sence would tell you that all the junk you see on the web about them is most likely people they have turned away or other agencies who are out to ruin their reputation. I signed up with Stefanie, she is a doll and you go through a whole process right away, you can call her or your agent anytime they don’t have to call you every day, you also get to see the cards before they get printed and before I knew it I was at casting calls I never would have known about if it weren’t for her. I get all the info I need about whats out there and dates of casting calls and givin updates all the time on all the shows that are casting and if I am interested to contact my agent right away. They are not going to give all that info to people that are not clients so why would info like that be on the website , they help cast for any show in Reality TV, So basically don’t talk about what you have no clue about
- anny replies to Smariefhey i would like to kno if it worked cuz greg called me from there

I have several e-mails from this guy. the scoop he told me: I am a PERFECT FIT for reality TV & the 5 photos are $275.00 if you get them through him, but you could go get them on your own. HMMM..... so I e-mailed him this link and asked him to read everything on it and get back with me..... lets see if I hear form him if I do I'll record the convo and/or post it all over. I have not sent any money & won't!
- ds| 2 repliesI heard from Mick St. Pierre (after applying to be on extreme makeover) who said he was going to take my pictures to a meeting and see if I would be selected. Got a call fom a new person today who said I passed but hey would need $289 for pictures unless I could do them myself and send them 500 copies of 8 1/2x5 1/2 12 point card stock double sided full color high gloss pictures. The numbers they called from were 415-251-7414 and 415-251-6323. Since reading all the blogs I decided to keep my money. If they really want me they can create the cards themselves from the pictures I have sent and take the money from my earnings when I get on a show.

- I smell a rat! replies to michelleThe number has changed 415-251_6362 and he calls himself Mick St Pierre but these are the emails that took place after I had filled out their intake on their site, so you decide? I SAY STAY AWAY IT"S A SCAM!

I sent photos with my reply email...
Mr. St Pierre,
Thank you for getting back to me. I will attach the three photos and hope that they are what you need. I will be honest, I have read some not so flattering information about your company online from doing research. So it's with trepidation that I proceed with this.
His reply:
Congrats!!
SEND ALL FAXES TO: MICK ST. PIERRE 1-415- 373 -1069
Great job, now we need to get you under contract and making money on TV.
First we will need talent cards, HNE will take care of your design and layout you cover prints.
Here are the specs for the cards:
500 cards
8.5" X 5.5"
12 pt. card stock
double sided color, high gloss finish
digital printer
If you can find a way to print the 500 cards cheaper then $288.75 please do if not you are more than welcome to use our printers who give us a good deal .
Thanks,
Mick
My reply:
Mick,
Since I'm a graphic artist, I feel that I would have more creative control and it would be easier for me to do the layout for the photo's. I have a friend here in San Diego that gave me a much better price so I'm sending you a copy of what I'm going to have her print. "Please" let me know if there is something that you think I should change, before I take it to the printer. She said it would be a 2-3 day turn around. Do I send them to the "65 Washington St, Santa Clara, CA 95050-6170 address?"
I will read the contract and have it faxed back to you by tomorrow and if your okay with the look and feel of the talent cards, you should have them in or about a week..
Thank you for contacting me and I hope to look forward to meeting and working with you as well as making money for both of us in the near future.
Best Regards,
I waited with no reply so after two emails and one phone call after the phone call he called me back and tells me that since I didn't sign the contract right away the opportunity was gone and said he couldn't wait 3-5 days for the talent cards. This was my reply after his phone call:
Mick,
As you stated in your email, I did have the option to do the talent cards myself, if I could find a cheaper price witch I did. The price was $144.00 and that was not the cheapest but the middle of the road. Red flag!
I don't know any printer that would not take three to five days to print the cards that you asked for unless you were using an overnight online printer that promised next day.. After our call I worked all day on the cards and got prices. I'm no dope, I was not going to sign any contract until I received your approval on the talent cards, Being the representing agent, what good would the contract be without the photos? Another red flag!
I'm glad I waited because it only proved to me that your just another scam artist. I should have noticed that when you called me from a "415" area code which is San Francisco. If you were on a "deadline," as you say, all you had to do was show the photo's that I had sent to your "supposed" potential client or clients, stating you were getting me under contract and my talent cards were being printed. You would have had my faxed contract today. Yet, another red flag!
I believed you when you said I had the option to have the talent cards printed elsewhere. This made you appear legit. I know now you were running another scam because you expected me to be like another one of your fools, to rush off the faxed contract and pay you the overpriced layout and printing of $288.75. I might add, I looked at the example talent cards that are on your site, and whoever your graphic artist is, I suspect it's you, sucks!
This gets back to that old saying... if it sounds too good to be true... it is. Thanks for the waste of my good time. I still have my plans to look look into some possible TV reality shows but guess I'll do it the old fashion way, fill out the application forms, submit the video's and if perhaps I get signed, then you'd be getting 15% of nada.
Regards,

Now...you be the judge I say SCAM! - W.T. replies to ds| 1 replywow how cool. i was told by Mick St. Pierre I was going to be on The Real World. I sent him pictures and then he said he wanted more. no 18 year old has ever been on the real world so i knew he was lying. then he had some new [***] ryan johnson is trying to get me to pay 300 for (i dont even know what the hell theyre for) THIS IS A SCAM AND THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER.
- LAWYER replies to W.T.You're a loser!
Get your lawyer for what? - Melmy call was from dave butler and the number was 415-251-8272.. I was just wondering about it cause i was just about to send some money.
- mel replies to RickSo i really need proof cause im about to send this money and i dont have that much.
- YOUDONTNEEDMYNAME replies to michelleDid this guy happen to sound hispanic?
- SCAM ALERT| 1 replyYes I ran into these people almost a month ago, trying to scam money from me .. too many red flags were shown, it just didn't feel right, so I declined giving them 275 dollars that they asked for right off the bat. Ridiculous. Stay clear from the company "Hollywood North Entertainment", they're names are "Dave Butler" and "Mick St. Pierre" they pray on people and their dreams. After much research and talking to a few people, I found out they they're current office is at 2175 Victoria Park Ave. Room 202 under the name "Buzz Marketing Solutions" (something like that) - somebody needs to get the cops in there and take care of this scum.
- pcharmh replies to MaryAnne| 1 replyHNE contacted me as well. I am dealing with someone by the name of Scott Camron, and Dan Blaze. Again I submitted an app for extreme makeover, they asked for the 288.50 and for me to sign the contract, after reading all of these blogs I'm glad I didn't, but how do you get on these Reality Shows the right way anyway! I have not seen the names I mentioned above in any of the blogs I read so far, so maybe these are the new names they have come up with so be on the lookout.
- Karen Moore| 2 repliesI too have spoken with Kenny Bowser and Dan and Scott. Has anyone ever gotten on a reality show? If so why don't they write in? Seems like everyone is just complaining that they did not get on yet the BBB says over the last 36 months only 7 complaints? Not being stupid just want to hear at from someone who did actually make it. And what about these faulse names? Has anyone proved it yet?
- Caller: HNE
- Mikey replies to Karen Moore| 1 replyYou don't have to pay 275.00 go get cards done yourself and the still represent you. I got my cards printed myself cost me $425.00 so going with them would have saved money.
- Ms Jones replies to MikeyKenny bowser called me and emailed me also. I just spoke with
Him today not even an hour ago. I'm sooo glad I Came on here
Some people say it's a scam some people say it's not I don't
Know, but I do not have time to play games not with 288 dollars

Up. I'm not understanding if you go on the bad girls site everything
There the girls the whole site is decked out right so that's throwing
Me off the CEO names are up there come on let me no
Because I will hurt his feelings now.... - KZ replies to SCAM ALERTHi my younger sister was contacted by these people and I asked her if she could get me the info. so I could make sure that this was legit. All she gave me was a phone # (415-839-5456) and she was talking to Kenny Bowzer out of Hollywood, Ca. The address that you posted is that also out of Hollywood, Ca.? We need to get these suckers quick.
- Northbound| 1 replyI would like to comment to all of you concerned about Hollywood North Entertainment. It's a company that makes comp cards. They are not a casting company nor are they agents as they like to call themselves. No casting agent or agent will ask you to pay out any of your money. Also casting agents do not collect 15% of your earnings. That is the agents job. they are also not a talent management company. they have nothing to do with casting for reality shows. Stay away from these people. In USA you can contact SAG in the state that you live in and they will give you the list of all the legitimate agents and casting directors. If you live in Canada you may contact ACTRA in any province that you live in for the lists of agents and casting directors. casting directors are hired by producers to find talent as actors or extras. When you watch the reality shows look up the names of the creators and producers find their offices and contact them directly and ask how to apply for the show. They will lead you to the right source. How I know this,I work in the entertainment industry for over 35 years and I hate to see miss information floating around and innocent people taken for a ride. I hope this helps.
- ashleyi also got a call from kenny bowzer saying he could get me o a show telling me how he likes my profile and i have what it takes to be on the real world or modeling shows he said he could put my cards on a website where producers could find me and he told me that ill be sorry if i pass this up but at the end of the conversation he told me that he needs 110 dollars and im wondering if it is a scam but not sure
