I received my phone bill today. Their phone number is a charge to my bill !!!
If you have call display, just don't answer the phone. I will be reporting this to Bell Canada.

i returned calll but mailbox is full

This number called me today and they tried to sell me the newspaper..very demanding, i told them no and they insisted on going further into detail about my payment options/methods, i tried to call them back to explain to them i don't want the paper and they need to respect the people they are calling and respect their wishes instead of insisting and to take me off their calling list and the vm said it was full!!

They said it was to give students more jobs and give them a paper route which i highly respect, BUT if i am not interested in it them i'm just not interested and i'd like for them to take their business elsewhere, i do not read the paper and am not going to pay for it every week to put it in my recycling bin.
Very pushy and rude and when i get a hold of them i will definately let them know that!

I received a call from this number and went to log a complaint on the Do Not Call List website and realized I couldn't according to the information listed below because the individual was trying to sell me a newspaper subscription.

This man had an accent and said he was calling on behalf of the Toronto Sun.
I didn't say anything at first because I already have a prescription with the SUN
Than he asked for my banking information.

The staff said they never saw the briefcase and refused to show the security camera footage.
All the staff had accents too..... mmmmmm..... interesting......than I get a call from x-coppers
next door to the car wash saying they found the brief case next to their back door at the same time & day it was stolen last week.  So now I am very skeptical.

There are other blogs of people having thefts at this same car wash.

I want to be removed from the list must there is no option or answering of phones

If you have access to a good size photo copier/fax machine at work, write "BITE ME" on a piece of paper, then make 50-100 copies, then load them into the fax document feeder, disable the setting that prints your phone number and the name of your place of business (which is printed on the fax at the receivers end), then press *67 (to block your number from their call display), then enter M & M's fax number (above) and press send.  Do it as many times as you need, and if you have a setting on the machine that says to automatically retry sending, press that too.  (Even better if you work on the midnight shift, as the faxes will use up all the paper in their machine by the time they slither into work the next day)

You won't stop them from calling you this way, but you can get some sweet satisfaction by interrupting THEIR day, the same way they interrupt ours!  After all, turnabout is fair play.

Calls through lets it ring 2 or 3 times then hangs up. Couple times per day.

On returning calls states ext 52 mailbox is full just disconnect. No option to be taken off list I should never be on in first place.

I answer it and talk with an accent and start ordering food to them..they hang up first for some reason but it will make your day and they will stop calling

I am on the NO CALL list but this number calls and hangs up on my machine almost every day.

If you see the # on your phone answer with

"Sargent Macelroy, anti rackets"

and see if they ever call back..

My friend has taken a run kid the mill referee whistle and answered the call with as loud as he possibly could. So far, no repeat calls. Not sure if the are any legal implications for these actions, but so far, he's gotten he result he wanted.

Very annoying - makes calls to my phone daily - do not answer the phone and they continue to call.I do not answer a call that is 416, 888, 877,800, or any other I do not know.

Received a call from416-850-3646, answered nobody picked up, then called that number and lo and behold a person actually answered the phone.  Asked why he called and did not answer.  H said this is the Toronto Sun  and he apologized and said it was an automatic dialer and would take us off the list if I gave him my number which I did.  It may be a mistake if he doesn't take our number off the list.  Hope he is good for his word.

I just called the number mentioned above. Its the number to a private extension. He does work for the sun and is affiliated with a telemarketing business. He took my number to remove me from the list (hopefully) and apologized. He asked me where I got his number and I said the Internet but didn't give details. This won't end for you unless you do something about it. It sounds like im not the only one that has bugged him about this issue, so I would recommend to definitely call him. If your number doesn't get removed at least your giving them a taste of what they are putting us through every day.
