This number has called 3 times this week. Never leaving a voice-mail. I was able to answer it today. " Thanks for calling KSCAM you're on the air." Immediate hang up.

YES this is a fraud number they call everyday as PSE. If you answer as a private party they will say they are PSE otherwise they just hang up on you. IT is a fraud call beware of this number 425-873-2778

It is PSE. I didn't trust the number because of all the reports here. So I called the different number provided on PSE's website. Once I was connected with an agent I told her about the calls from the unfamiliar number; she confirmed that it's a legit PSE collection service number.

Note: I was also quite aware of the fact that I had an amount past due (before anybody called). I don't understand how anyone wouldn't know whether, or not, their bill is past due. Why would anyone need to "ask" an agent if they have an outstanding bill?

I just got a call as well, but did not answer.  I Google ALL numbers I don't recognize.  Thanks for posting peeps!  I'll block this number now.

Utilities do threaten to immediately shut off.
If you look through the PSE facebook page one of their reps has stated this number is a PSE number.
Call me confused. I don't answer and never get a message. Been calling me once everyday this week. Must not be important or anything if whoever it is can't leave a message. Pisses me off.

Confused.  People! This really is Puget Sound energy. If you call back and wait for someone to answer they really do assist you.

Missed several calls from this number but no messages left. Glad I googled it and found this page!

seemed legit.  they called me and told me i had a balance.  i went to pse.com and did have a balance in the amount stated over the phone and just paid online.  double check the amount before it goes to collections!

They have called 5 times in the last 2 days. Major scam.

It IS PSE , they call if you have a overdue balance.

This number has called my husband before , caused a fight with him thinking we were over due by 432.00 . Beings we are on auto withdrawal , I was confused . I called PSE and found in fact YES , is a scam . DO NOT PAY THEM ! If you receive a call , hang up call PSE yourself and verify , don't give money .

Getting calls from this number. Claims to be PSE according to phone number look up. If they don't leave message I don't return call.

I got multiple calls all times of day this past week.
PSE has an intimate relationship with me as I have to use subsidies and get put on disconnect list and taken off multiple times. I have never had my power disconnected, BUT I know exactly how they go about it and they definitely call you several times with their (888) 225-5773 number and graciously ask when you could pay them or if you need a temporary hold. IF YOU OFFER CREDIT CARD  INFORMATION the LEGIT REP. WILL DECLINE and TRANSFER TO PHONE PAY SYSTEM. This is months before you ACTUALLY get a VERY NICE service person to come knocking and if you answer, you have a final chance to pay before disconnection and fees.

I've also gotten calls from regular debt collectors, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT PAYMENT INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. And generally, they are a third party collecting on behalf of the original party, so not only do they ask you to defer payment to where the original debt incurred, but also they wouldn't have legitimate access to the computer system.

I knew this call was Fishy because I don't have a VM message but most people who are certain they're calling me will still leave a message.
This number never left a message and called at all times of day.
Now I'm certain this number is Phishy.

Got a call this number claiming they were PSE and that I owe the past due bill I believe this is a phishing number

It is a scam.  They wanted personal information which I would not give.  I called PSE and they said that phone number is not theirs and my account was in good standing.

This number is pse all the people saying it isnt are wrong and they obviously owe a debt. My bill was past due by accident and they called so this number is legit pse!
