Hello everyone, My husband just received a phone call from these people. The man at the other end did not like it when I got on the phone. He was very rude and began yelling. He would not let me talk and when I did get his attention I told him he was full of it. He was trying to get $450 or $250 dollars. I asked him to give me my address, it was not even my address. Heaven help the people who live at that address if it is a real one. These people need to be stopped. I am going to alert my Attorney General's Office here in Florida about the caller. Thanks everyone for the great info!

Bill collectors can only call between the hours of 8am and 9pm and MUST inform ONLY the person that they are seeking that "it's an attempt to collect a debt and that the call might be recorded". They are also restricted to TWO calls per 7 day period and may not use any threatening language.

This company calls 5-10 times, per day, and when there's even someone on the other end doesn't say who they are and have now started making physical threats against the person being sought.

Phone #434-533-9030 - calls every other day all times of the day sometimes beginning at 8:00 am on Sunday morning - asks for "Heather" - who has never had this phone number as we have had the same number for 40 years.  They are very rude and I'm tired of it.  I've called the Federal Trade Commission and reported them.  What else do I need to do to get these calls to stop?

    called my work cell
These people called RPM say they are collections for Imagine credit card.  They called my work cell, which is not in my name.  Lady said I put that number as a contact number back in 2006.  I didn't have the phone until March 2009.  Don't mind being called for a debt I owe, but I do mind that they won't send a bill.  Don't like liars, either....

They're spoofing their number now.  On my Phone caller ID, it's some random 800 number, but when I checked my "missed call list" this was one of the numbers that showed up.

Sounds quite fishy to me.  I doubt it's a legitimate collections agency.  I've heard of scams where someone will call with a "collection" and because most people have many other debts that haven't been paid, they might pay off these losers.

Usually it's a minuscule amount in comparison so the victim would pay that one off right away to make it one less collection to worry about.

Be very wary of nasty calls and record your calls.  Notify them first, in some states, as long as you tell them you are recording, then as long as they stay on the line, it's considered consent.  The other states, there's no law concerning recording calls, but check your state laws first.

We were only getting a call from them once in a while, then my husband picked up the phone because we do have family members who have collections bugging them use our phone number (another long story).  My husband will answer and let them know that they no longer live here, end of story. Instead, there was silence and he hung up.

Now there's no end to the calls.  5-6 times a day.  Yeesh!

They call 4-5 times each day. Answered once, automated voice said wait while we connect you. I do not answer anymore.  I wish I could file a harassment -infringement on my personal life lawsuit. I know I do not owe them or anyone; they probably have a wrong number. Help give me the CEO personal cell number so I can harrass them.

I received a call from these people at my home on a Sunday morning.  The rude, sarcastic and obvioulsly black woman with an attitude was fishing around for someone I've never heard of.

If they want to harass us, let's harass them (should be an even playing field, right?)...  using a web e-mail account (gmail, yahoo, etc), create one if you don't want to use you're actual web e-mail, send (or blast) random e-mail messages to account-inquiry@receivablesperformance.com (this is the "customer service" e-mail for RPM (or Receivables Performance Management).  Enjoy!

Getting calls from 1-434-533-9030 several times each day. Googled the number to find out that they are a collection agency. To stop the call I called the toll free number at their dispute center, "Payment Dispute/Inquiry
    payment-inquiry@receivablesperformance.com
    or toll free 1-800-618-6709
    fax 425-984-6277".

They call 2x a day, no one ever says anything. It is really driving me crazy. I am on the Do Not Call registry, still, they call incessantly. How can this be stopped?

Same caller to my home phone for the last 3 days. It's happening at-least 12 times a day. I filed a complaint with the FCC online:

This caller calls every day at least once, sometimes multiple times.  I have no debt issues, so they have no legitimate reason to call me.

It's a collection agency. I just filed a complaint against them with the FTC. Collection agencies are restricted to TWO phone cals per SEVEN Day Period. They call up to TEN times per Day, seeking someone who no longer lives here.

A few suggestion.....make formal complaints to the FTC, write a "cease communications" letter to RPM and send certified, Black ball the companies that use RPM. As Rich stated above, they are apparently getting old records (phone companies etc...) and attempting to fraud people out of money for bills that they had paid long ago and may not have records of any longer. An internet search provided this address:
    Recieveables Performance Management
    Attn: Payment Dispute
    20816 44th Ave. W.
