"Blake" will not provide any information, asks for someone by first name only, states that person will take his call. His first words are " I'm a private investigator from Dallas, I'm coming to get you." Then he says he will help you collect unpaid invoices.
Don't tell this slacker anything. He is obviosly a liar. No one should do business with a liar.

We have also received calls from this number. They ask for the owner by first name and when told he is unavailable, he hangs up. We are now calling the number back repeatedly to let them know how we feel.

Call came from 469-298-1210 UNKNOWN- asked for business owner by name said he could collect unpaid debts in 5 days. Then he added  " with a ragged out old POW and a woman running for office and a F*^%ed up economy every body owes every body money". I told him "wait a minute, listen to me" He said "no you listen to me" So I hung up. Regardless of who you chose to vote for in November, nobody has the right to bash a POW, How dare he!!! Just received a call from someone named blake. States he can help us collect debt. When we tell him we cant use his services right now. he gets upset and hangs up on us. Will call a couple of weeks later and do the same thing.  He argued with our secretary telling her she didn't know what she was talking about. This guy is crazy. Does anyone know who this man is or what "so called company" he works for?

Guy calls says his name is Blake, wont tell us what company he works for. Says he's a private investigator, and hes coming to get me. Then says, "just kidding".  Says he can help us collect debt. When I tell him I don't need his services right now, he gets upset. Then hangs up on me.

I ggt a call from Steve.  As like everyone else, he insisted on talking to the owner.  Said it was regarding a Financial Legal Matter.  When I said he wasn't in, he insisted that he is never in.  I told him that is correct, he is hardly in he office.  He was very push and when I kept telling him he wasn't in he more less called me a liar and said "you going to hang up now".  When I did hang up I called back and asked what the company was.  They said Haller Homer and Taylor a comercial financial company.  I told the girl that answered that I had received a very rude call from Mark Stevens and was not very pleased at all with the call.

We have a client who has received numerous harassing phone calls from this company, "HHT" indicating they can collect on outstanding/past due accounts.  The attorney in the office called the company, Haller, Harlan and Taylor, at 469-298-1210 extension 1078 and spoke with Mark Peterson.  Mr. Peterson was very polite and assured our attorney that our client's phone number would be completely removed from their call list and that our client would not be contacted again.  Our attorney was very optomistic about Mr. Peterson honoring his word.  If you are having issues with this company, we would suggest calling Mr. Peterson and expressing your concerns.

Received a call from this number and found the call a bit interesting. This buy Blake said, "He was coming to get me"... WOW! I played along and not like everyone else here, I actually started using "HHT". I did have my guard up initially, but "HHT" isn't just another collection agency looking for an opportunity. Yes, this company is HIGHTLY agressive, but they've been able to recoup what I and my staff have been unable to collect on our own... After laughing it off about how Blake got me to come to the phone I had a conversation with my CFO about our credit policy. We really needed to tighten our credit/collection practices. If given the opportunity I believe that "HHT" has something to offer...

I've been getting harrassing phone calls from some guy named Mr. Perkins for over a year. He calls my business phone and claims I owe him money. First it was for Yellow page ads, which I have never had, then it was for an unspecified debt of $1874.53. He always asks for James Jones, and when I try to tell him that he must have the wrong number and the wrong company, he gets really belligerent, forcing me to hang up. Today we got a bill to our P.O.Box for nearly $5200.00 on behalf of a company in San Francisco that we've never heard of. They do exist and I will call them directly tomorrow. The phone number this guy calls from is 770-512-4134, but the number on the collection notice from Haller Harlan & Taylor is 469-298-1200. We will be calling our attorney tomorrow, as well as the local news team that digs into scams. Probably the DA and the Attorney General's office as well. This has to be a scam with this clown calling people in the hopes that he can bully someone into sending him money for a "debt" for which they have never received a bill, never heard of and have never been taken to court for not paying. I am a CA licensed general contractor. This idiot had to have gotten my info from the phone book, because he has no vital info about my company that would demonstrate any knowledge of who I am, etc... It's ALL fake, a SCAM! Please let me know if you have also been harrassed. This guy is going down! Yes "Mr. Perkins," I'm coming for YOU! You have no idea who you're dealing with. My attorney and his firm took down the tobacco companies. What do you think they'll do to you?

I agree these people call our company and said that he is calling with his Lawyer on the phone. These people must not realize that some owners of company tell their gatekeepers who they expect to come in and who should be calling so they will not have to be bothered with these loosers that work dead end jobs. What a waste of money to open a place like this.

Ok - so we've been getting these calls for awhile and yes, the men that call are VERY agressive.  So today I swore at one (hehe) and he told me I was a "dirty girl" and wanted to take me somewhere nice, that he liked my style... so I did some research, found the actual number to call to get an operator (469)385-7855 and talked to a man named Michael (whose direct dial he told me was 469-298-1203 but I haven't verified it yet).  I told him about a call i got a couple of weeks ago.. that in the meantime when I answer the phone I get hung up on and so today I just answered the phone "hello" instead of the company name and the guy talked to me.  I also informed him that if that call was in a different persons' hands it would be a sexual harassment suit and if they dare talk to me like that again it WILL be a lawsuit.  So he's suppost to take me off the calling list and I'm supposed to call him directly if we EVER get a phone call again.  So, hopefully its taken care of

Oh and for the record... they not only call to collect money, they call to advertise their services apparantly... that Michael guy didn't make it very clear what they do.

These idiots think that they can threaten you to pay them money.  They will tell you that unless you send them X amount of money right away, they will trash your credit rating and put liens on your property.  They don't have the brains to realize that they need to provide documentation in order to collect a debt.  They seem to be affiliated with the Nigerian internet scammers.  They must make cold calls hoping that people will send them money based on their threats.  Report them to your state agency with the name of the caller so that if they ever come to your state they can be arrested and charged with illegal business practices.

I am a California contractor also and have been getting calls from these idiots.  Threats to trash my credit and put liens on my property.  But they don't seem to have any documentation to back up their claims, just trying to get money by using threats.  Let me know how your lawyer does, I'd like to put them in touch with mine.  I pay my debts and am tired of the harassment from these guys.

I got a call from these guys today - the caller identifies himself as Travis (unintelligible last name), ask for Diane (the company owner), and says she'll take his call.  When asked who he's with, he repeats 'Travis... and she'll take my call, but adds his attorney is there with him.  When asked again to identify who he's with, he hangs up.

However the CLI is coming through with a slightly different number: 469 298 1194

This guys calls trying to get our business to collect past due receivables from our clients.  We've asked them for months...and months...to take us off their list.

I think they've taken our contact information from the California State License Board website because he always asks for my husband, who happens to be the president of our company.  Interesting though, I'm the majority shareholder, but the "little woman" can't seem to talk for her company.

He yells, swears is so rude and I was literally shaking when I hung up the phone.  I can't imagine we'd have any clients at all if we used these people.  We don't need their services, but still!
