I participated in their research in Florida last week and I am on the do not call list. I wanted to see what it was about. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional it was. I thought it was going to be a sales thing and would complain but found out that market researchers are exempt from the DNC and can call us. Im glad they called me because i would participate again. It was very cool. We discussed some community issues and we all got paid $200 at the end

Received a message from K & B National Research (JAMES).  ALSO LEFT PERSONAL NUMBER 469 341-5853.  Would I like to make $300 for a community focus group.  The place was going to be at an undisclosed place on Wilshire.That was bogus.

The person that call said the her name Sanger and said I'm have your funking address and then she stopped and the man in the back ground was saying we r doing an severy in your town. Then it hung up. The name on the caller id was Triton networks and the # 4693415853. I'm going to the Pd. Tomorrow. That is a a crime.

Stephanie with K&B National calling about a focus group that has nothing to do with my. She left a voicemail. No clue how she got my number. It's on the Do Not Call registry. Will be reporting them.

Says they are conducting a focus group in my area. I don't know what type of people they are looking for as they never use my name, so they are obviously cold calling. I've only had this number a few weeks and only 3 people have it, this research group is obviously not one of them. I've had 6 calls from them so far.

got the bucks huh? they called and said the same thing here in July 2015, said meetings were local, and for participating, would get a check for $100 something, still, I don't like potentially who or what this information, any information might be used from. We said we were moving soon, outta the country, and they said " your going back to Egypt?"  We aren't from Egypt. One of us is from Germany back in 1960's, rest born here so where does that come from?  Invesigating now.

I do many research focus group panels and get paid well for them, so I don't think that anyone here is trying to rip you off, sell you anything or is a criminal, etc.  If you are not interested, just ask them to take your number off of the list.  Me?  I don't mind making a little cash over lunch hour to sit around and give my opinion on products.  Plus, this doesn't apply to the Do Not Call List, which is a bunch of crap anyway.  Telemarketers will find their way around any "list" and get through to your number so to rant that you are on that list and contacting authorities, etc. won't do you any good other than make you look silly.

K&B research. They are subcontractors for REAL survey companies like Schlesinger or Focus Pointe doing mainly mock trials for lawsuits. However BEWARE they may give you wrong information, make promises they won't keep and you MAY NOT GET PAID !   I got a cold call from Ursula , we spent about 45 minutes on the FIRST call going thru a very long list of.         " qualifying " questions. Ursula told me the " study " would be held at a local hotel ( it wasn't ) she promised I would receive a check for $350 at completion of  the ELEVEN hour study ( I received a $100 gift card. ) I was also promised an addition $20 for doing a pre study survey. Ursula refused citing a laundry list of lame  excuses. Bottom line if you want to do these study groups and GET PAID then deal direct with the REAL research companies in your area not a middleman.

Both MOM &  JOANN were written on the same day and both are similarly glowing and use similar syntax in their description. I  suspect they are written by the same employee of K&B trying to balance all the hundreds of negative reports rather than just being honest and fair .  Guess that's too hard for them.

We are a full service focus group company not a subcontractor. Our Dallas facility is state of the art and built to hold up to 4 focus groups simultaneously. Our call center is required to screen people to see if they qualify for the research and our confirmations department confirms their attendance.

The project referenced by "burned" took place last week and required a survey to be completed prior to the research. It wasnt completed by this individual and their phone number became disconnected. We had no choice but to cancel this persons invitation. When they arrived to the research anyway they were paid $100 out of Goodwill. We think this was more than fair and any reasonable person would think it fair also.

Lot of good that did, eh?
