This is a scam. I stupidly put in my phone number when they asked to get them to stop calling me.  go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint.  

Every time I block their number, they use a new one to harass me.

DO NOT call this company back, EVER!!  Block their number, but dont ever call back! When you call back they capture your number and continue to harass you!  The ONLY Way to stop this, is to file a complaint with www.DONOTCALL.gov.  The more complaints that are received, the faster this scammer will be shut down and prosecuted. Also file a complaint to FTC.GOV AND your local Public Utility Commission. Also file a complaint to your state's Attorney General's office.

This number calleed today but i dint pick up thank god i always google numbers to see if its fake or not :) but dont trust this number its bunch of fakes trying to steal from you. They need to be stopped before someone falls for their lies or if someone allready did... You have been extremely warned

Sprint with an automatic call, regarding my wireless account.

I have had Sprint for more than a decade and any month I am late, I will get an auto call from the Sprint  Finance Center call line from the 480 number addressing me by the name on my account, including my middle name. To call them back, dial *2 from your phone, log in to your account online or call the 800 number. I never call back an unknown number and prefer common sense over paranoia.

I got a call from this number this morning, and the number they said they were calling about was not even mine.

Why would you post up that lie on here. Admin's this is probably one of the individuals responsible for this fraud. Please ban their IP

Scam. I've gotten multiple calls from them over the last couple months, each referencing accounts representing phone numbers that were not only not mine, but were different each time. Sprint sends TEXTS, the process is automated so that when an account hits a threshold the computer generates it.

The voicemail says it's Sprint, and they usually call a few days after I get my bill in the mail, so it could be Sprint, or it could be a scam. Don't know for sure though, I always pay online or by dialing *3. I never answer or return unsolicited phone calls.

Edit: I'm not really sure this is a scam, though. Sprint does farm out their collection calls, like most companies do. And about the phone number that "isn't yours"... actually listen to the message. They aren't using the last 4 digits of your PHONE number, they are using the last four digits of your ACCOUNT number, which is different. How would they have your account number unless they are sprint, you gave it out to someone you shouldn't have, or they hacked sprint's system to steal it. Has sprint said their system has been comprimised? Just sayin...

Wow, the paranoia in here.  It IS either Sprint OR an outsourced company Sprint hired to call customers who are late. If it's an outsourced company surely they make calls for other companies besides Sprint.
It's not a scam.  If you don't have an account, tell them.  If you do, just don't give them info over the phone.  Go online or call *2 to pay your bill.  You should never give out your info over the phone anyway.

I just received a phone call from this 480# last month it was a 219# I called and asked sprint orbit was then...they said no....it was fruad

This is sprint calling. if this line is calling - your phone bill is past due. Check your sprint account to verify first, then call their customer support line directly to pay.

when you Google a phone # and the first listing that comes up is 800notes, you know it's a number you want no part of.

if Sprint really did have business to do with me, I would have received a voice mail message. that's what Sprint does. [***] scams don't bother with messages, as they don't want return calls.

I hate scammers and telemarketers as much as the next person...but you people crack me up.  This is Sprint, no question about it...outsourced to a 3rd party in Arizona.  I don't care whether you guys believe me or not, and of course you should never give information to someone you don't trust...but it's just a "you haven't paid your bill nag call."  The call doesn't even ask you give them any information or for a callback, so if they are trying to run a scam, they sure as hell aren't doing it properly.

And just as a follow-up to the above message, to pay your Sprint bill, you just have to dial *3 on your phone. There's no reason why you would ever give any info to 480 guys.  The 480 is just a nag call, they aren't trying to get any info out of you.

Get calls from this number throuout the day multiple times !!!! STOP

This is Sprint customer finance, it is automated bill collection for those who don't pay!

Well if sprint sent fraud after them,it did nothing.
Sprint does NOT get your phone number wrong ,so no way do I think its sprint.
My bill is now due ,but not OVERdue ,so they shoukdnt be calling.
Sprint texts you to tell you all of this btw so they dont call you at all ,for overdue bills. ,
