They may or may not be American you just never know . I just recently today got a call on my home phone from these people and it sat silent for probably four seconds and I said hello ? And a Chinese woman answered saying "Lara Noke" that's not how you pronounce my name for one thing and hey I recently heard that telemarketer calls give you a few seconds of silence at the beginning because they want to make sure it's not a voice recording because sometimes it just goes straight to voicemail if you have them listed on your cell phone as blocked or something . And they wait to make sure that you're a human and not a voicemail so they know exactly what kind of cue card to read for which one. and I also heard that their bosses will sometimes sit right there and stare them down angrily if they don't make a phone call and even if they do their bosses still do that to watch as they're making the call so they can see that they read the cue card correctly and say all the right jazz that we don't want to hear and it's not their fault and they don't want to piss us off anymore than they already are going to. But it is annoying. And I did not know it was Humana I just know I heard her say my name incorrectly and I hung up and when I googled the number I found out I had already been getting those on my cell phone from the same company for several weeks but my cell phone had blocked them so I didn't know but somehow they found out I have a home phone. And I haven't had Humana in a long time. I got them for disability purposes years ago and the government switched me from them to somebody else and that's just how the government works . The government says since you have government insurance and not your own that you picked yourself we can choose what you get and when you get it so I had Humana and I loved them because I got really good I care and really good prescription and stuff like that and now I don't as much. I haven't had Humana in a long time so I don't really know what they wanted but nonetheless it's annoying.  And about those sandwich thing someone said they could hear the telemarketer talking in the background about the sandwich. One time I got some issues on my AT&T U-verse TV and I did not like it I didn't understand I keep having arounds with people that didn't know what I was talking about and they didn't care and one time I got a guy from India and you could tell that there was a television on in the background and people were blowing party kazoos and celebrating and you could hear a popping sound as though somebody was definitely having a birthday party or a going away party at work or a promotional party at work something . And the guy was trying to talk to me but he kept getting distracted and wanting to pay attention to the party and then somebody came up and ask him if he wanted any pizza . So I had to tell the guy that there was obviously some party going on in the background and it was distracting and I couldn't hear what he wanted from me. And he kept trying to apologize and get to the point and then kept getting distracted so I asked for somebody in America and that made it that. And then I got somebody that was in Louisiana or something and she knew what I was talking about and did not get confused and she got my just what I was telling her about the first time. Times it just happens if they sound like they're from Kentucky but they're not and sometimes they don't care about the people on the other end and they're not really taught to.

They have been calling my number constantly.  I have a phone blocker in place, and so they have never gotten through.  Still they call.  If I could stick my arm through my phone and have it come out on the other side of the call, then I think I would...  Well you get the idea.  Whoever it is doing this has to be the lowest of the low life to harass people for a living like this.  Why don't they get a respectable job like a grave robber?

This phone number calls at least once a day. I don't answer since I don't know who it is and it's not ID'd on my phone. They don't leave a message. Reading back through previous posts, I'm appalled that this has been going on for many years and it doesn't seem to matter when people block them or other remedies.

This number, (502) 301-1989, is used by Humana to contact their customers regarding their medical coverage. Some of you, however, MAY be getting scam calls that are spoofing this number if you don’t have Humana insurance coverage, or someone has given Humana your phone number as being theirs.

I have recieved 5 calls all afternoon..I declined the calls each time. I have now  blocked the number

I received a call from ‭+1 (502) 301-1989‬ no answer. I received a second call it was in reference to a survey from Humana that I agreed to complete via phone call.  It’s a legitimate phone number call from Humanaz

I had 3 calls to my cell from 1 52pm to 1 57pm I called  1800 941 6172 and they put me through to customer service, I had them remove me from their call list  I hope it works

Calls and leaves no voicemail... Simply some type of scam

Phone calls 2x a day. I have Medicare D only and for first time last month paid premium on website. Then calls started.

It's not Humana or AARP ,just another middleman, waste of space, can't take a hint, insurance peddler. I have the number blocked and my phone never rings however the phone keeps track every time they try. The phone also records the exact time and date they try. Have a lot to report.

No message. Blocked. Now you have to send me an email deadbeats.

Guy says he is from Humana, I'm available for dental and vision coverage.  I chatted a minute, told him I do nothing over the phone.  I don't know if it was Humana, but not giving out info to some stranger on the phone.

Called 6 times in a row. Did not leave a message. Irritating. I had also reached out to Humana
Pharmacy. I called the number I call all the time but ended up attempting to understand some foreigner. Sure gets old getting all these calls.

I am a Humana customer. But, I don't recall giving them permission to call me with sales pitches. Number is now blocked.
