This # called me at 8:36 this morning. Dead airspace. Tracked the # as 502-301-1989 and arrived at this site.
Called Humana and after 3 tries got Ashley, an account supervisor and explained the situation.
In MN, a robocall must have a live person at the end of the line. Dead airspace or a recorded message doesn't count. I told Ashley that if I get anymore calls from the # I will file a complaint with our AG and combined with the complaints I've read here, I'll contact the FCC.- Caller: Humana

I leave my answering service on and do not respond to incoming calls unless I hear the voice of someone I know and I want to talk. I've asked you twice to stop calling me and you have ignored my request. Exercise some basic human decency! STOP CALLING ME!!! Or force me to fill a complaint with the FTC, FCC, and Better Business Bureau. The choice is yours.

- Kimbo502-301-1989 this is the number on caller ID, and it says Humana, but answers as "CMS" when
If you do business with a company, you may receive calls from other companies that they do business with for up to 6 months after your business dealings with them ends.. I learned that this is a loophole in the "Do Not Call" statutes. But you can still file a complaint if they break other rules, like times of calls, rudeness, not identifying themselves, etc.
.
Humana shows up on caller ID, but when I dialed through caller ID, a voice mail said that "CMS is unable to take your call and leave a message." Doesn't CMS mean "Center for Medicare Services?"
It appears that Right Source pharmacy, who contracts somehow with Humana, calls often. Now, we are getting calls from this number again, and I finally answered it before it went to it's usual auto-message. I spoke with someone calling herself Barbara "?Priese?", not sure on the spelling, but that's what it sounded like. I do not have Humana, but hubby does, and she was insistent that it is not legal for her to speak with me, (hubby can't hear well on the phone).
Now, we knew that we had notarized forms on file with Humana giving them hubby's consent for them to discuss his medical information with me. They usually look that up when I prompt them to, without issue. But this woman couldn't do that for some reason, like maybe because she is not employed by Humana, therefore our release consent doesn't apply to her? Right now, we are in the middle of some important medical issues, as well as knowing there may soon be changes in the insurance plan due to the Affordable Care Act starting Jan.1. I specifically told her my concerns, to make sure that hubby still had insurance, and that his Dr. would remain his Dr., (as the Dr.s office called earlier today and said that Humana may be dropping the Dr. from their provider list), and that this call is causing us to worry about the medical issues that are pending. Hubby got on the phone just to tell her to mail the info to us, she should have the address, so she then tries to set up an appointment for them to come and speak with him about it! He again told her to mail the info, then she confirmed to me that she'd mail info to hubby, but then she told me that it is not legal to send that information out. All of this considered, I am pretty sure that she's basically a phone solicitor, using Humana client names as her calling list.. Hopefully anyway. I am thinking the best solution is for Humana to discontinue their relationship with the folks at this number, as Humana's reputation is certainly going to suffer because of this. Perhaps if all the premium payers wrote a little statement to Humana regarding their feelings about these unwanted and harassing calls. Good luck folks...remember, we are all now electronically gridlocked, even those with no computer or computer skills are entered and tracked somewhere by someone. It's going to take much more than a "Do not data enter" list to fix this one. Especially now that it's the government having the access to our medical records. Downhill from here folks!- Caller: Humana or CMS
