I've received several calls from this number in the last few month, probably once a week. Same thing auto my warranty is expiring please renew it. Who is thins and why haven't they been shut down?

And a few hours later, a call to my company cell (also AT&T).  Perhaps they have an AT&T list?

never answer, they left one voicemail (automated voice about car warranty expiration)

I received this robo-call on an ATT Cell Phone Today Nov 19

Recorded female voice pitching the tired old "expiring warranty" scam -- that's used to pretend a legitimate business relationship where none actually exisits.

Ending unwanted calls from the cockroaches hiding behind this number is easy as 1 2 3.

1.  Listen to enough of the message to make sure the caller isn't someone who's been authorized by you (or someone in your household) to call you.

2.  Write down the date and time of the call with enough information  to let the FCC locate and contact the caller and/or those working this scam.

3.  Report the caller, and any expenses you've incurred because of these calls, to the FCC, using the on-line form at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Same here & I am also on AT&T cellular. I don't bother answering these any more. We should all call AT&T and ask them why they are selling our cell phone numbers to these hooligans !

Missed call came up at 5:51 MST.  Of course, no message left.

I believe it is a number harvesting scam...I get these warranty calls very frequently after I respond with my resume to job listings on Craigslist.  It may be a coincidence, but who knows.

this is riduculous. how did telemarketers get our cell phone number?
and why is it that when you call the number back it's disconnected?
is there a 800 number to call to eliminate this? 5 times in 2 weeks!

Tired of these kind of calls.  Got call on cell and home phone number.  These guys must have a list.  Not so random.  More calls at home.  Tried to use caller ID to block at home.  When I tried to block this number - got automated response "not available with this service". I've never had trouble blocking anyone elses number AND I pay for this service.  Calling AT & T to complain tomorrow.  No reason to be harrassed by these people if the phone company has the capability to block this number.

The phone company and cell phone carriers needs to be held accountable at this point.  Individuals have the right to privacy and it's not being protected now that these [***] are playing their tricks.

Got the same call. Same thing. Also on AT&T. AT&T selling numbers to telemarketers?

Just received a call from this number, no message left. I did not answer as I am currently at work and unable to do so. Did a reverse search on the phone number, returns someone in KY.

auto warranty scam

This scum of the earth is claiming I need an extended warrant due on my car. I played along with them and asked which of my cars I needed it on.....they beat around the bush dodging my question.
My advice is have fun making [***] out of these scum!!!

Just received a call at 6.00pm on the West Coast.  I told the rep that I was curious as to how someone in Kentucky had my personal and unlisted cell phone number.  The rep quickly told me that they would remove my number and hung up before I could ask how long it would take.  These calls are illegal.

They call BOTH my cellphones and one of them is VERY VERY VERY private. Only a handful of peps have it. It scared the hell outta me that someone could have my super private line. There is only one explanation. The Cell Phone Carriers. I got both call around 5:30 PST 11/19/08. When i try call back, its busy.

I got a call today from this number on a pre-paid cell phone!  They must just randomly dial numbers.  But it made me mad, wasting my minutes!
