Just got a call from this guy also. I'm in Southern CA.

Got a call from this number, didn't know who it was, so I didn't pick up.  They left no message.  A couple of hours later, the same thing.  So, I looked it up on the internet, and I see that I am not the only one having this problem.  This suck and I wish there was something we could do about it.  How the heck did they get my number?

Just got this call.....It definitely sounds like a scam....

They orginally asked for my make and model and zip code and passed me on to the manager...

Then, I started asking questions like what's my address....he said he didn't know and just hanged up on me...definitely sounds fishy.

I just received another one of these calls 2minutes ago and I have been receiving them every now & then from different numbers both to my cell phone and my work phone.  It always starts off with "This is a factory message notifying you that your car warranty is about to expire...."  The first time I got this message I got confused trying to figuere out what car they were talking about.  But after receiving this message continuously I don't care anymore & immediately hang up after the 1st 2seconds.  Maybe someone out there has a better way to get these **ers off our backs...

Another random Californian, I had a missed call from this number. This website is very helpful. Thank you everyone who reports numbers here, now I don't have to waste my time trying to call back.

Just got a call about 10 minutes ago.  This is the first of these phone calls I've gotten, however I also got something in the mail last week about a car warranty expiring.  Could they be connected?

Yeah just got the same call, didn't answer and no message. First of all, this Antonio Jones guy is not who is doing this. They use a device that changes their original number to a number of their choice. They can pick any  number they want, and usually they pick a number that is disconnected so when you call back you get nothing. And from the looks of it there really isn't nothing you can do about it. So.... seeing that they usually call back multiple times, I am going to create some fake information and just mess with them as long as possible. My thought is that the more you mess with them the less likely they will be to call you back. Just waiting for the next call.

yeah, i keep getting this message again and again, the stupid thing is that i don't even own a car yet, how can my car warranty expire if i don't even own a car, that is kind of dumb

eeps calling my cell phone,and my daughters constantly. I called the number back and it said it was no longer in service.

Just called my daughters cell phone here in AZ but she has a CA number. Number calling was 502-447-4497

Guess what, folks? These calls aren't limited to AT&T. I have T-Mobile in Denver, CO and have been getting calls on both of our cell phones for months now, the last one just 2-1/2 hours ago. Maybe if we all contacted the FCC, they can track these morons down and do something to protect our privacy. I'm tired of paying for minutes, only to be harrassed by scammers that have no business calling me.

They say the company name is "Warranty Help Desk" but don't know the address of the company that employs them. When you try to opt out of the calls, it does no good. I'm losing good cell phone minutes to these jerks and I'm fed up with the calls.

I just got this call and I have Verizon......I spoke to a customer service guy and he says it is called "piggybacking" and the poor guy whose number is coming through on our phones has had his phone number sold without his knowledge to be used as a "legit" number for telesales.  The rep I spoke with put a nuisence block on that number for my phone.  We will see....

what the heck...that dumb 502 number just called me too. I went look up the area code as well and found this page. I thought i was the only one.  from Cali too. This scam guy needs to get a life.

att 2229hs central didnt answer no voicemail.  Been getting them since i talked to a rep from US Filelis (how ever u spell it) it is a car warranty company. Only hummm about it is I have changed numbers AND services since then. Has Tmobile now ATT

I thought we got these guys shut down.  It was from virginia before same MO.
They say the dealers give them the numbers, so it isn't telemarketing.  I always pressed 1, acted real excited that they could re-instate the warranty on my 2002 PT Cruiser with a cracked head.  They then told me I wasn't elgible.   I documented it all, and found every extended warranty company in the country, and emailed the owner / president / CEO, whoever I could find, and explained to them.  Finally on one of the calls, I told them federal law required they identify themselves, which the lady (probably $6 hour teen) told me.  I then filed complaint with the FTC and FCC, since it was on cell phone.  Also several of the legit warranty people emailed back and said they were trying to track them down.  I just received this call Yesterday, different number but same everything.  Suspect it is same group different stolen number.

I contacted the dealers I have purchased cars from the lsat 10 years, all claimed they do not sell information, I tend to believe them since the caller doesn't know the model of car.  I was traveling then and had more time though.

I got a call from this number on my cell today, I have gotten calls before from the caller asking about vehile warranties, like others state they have received.  I am sick of them calling also and HOW DO THEY GET YOUR PERSONAL PHONE NUMBERS?
