He stopped singing and said "how do you like that" and hung up.

- LMThey called me saying I could reduce my credit card interest rate. When I asked them what credit card they were talking about they hung up on me. They wanted ME to give THEM the credit card info. It is a big time scam.
- Mr. DReceived a direct voice-mail on my cell phone from 503-468-5002. My cell phone did not ring. The prerecorded voice told me this was my last notification to call back to reduce my interest rate to 6.9%. I had never received ant calls from them previously. I too am on the National Do Not Call Registry. If you are a Verizon customer you can block up to 5 phone numbers for 90 days for free. After 90 days you can block them again if needed. These jerks will be blocked.

- Not Really A Law replies to Richard milton| 3 repliesSO...by 7 laws you mean you did a quick Google search on phone solicitation, read a couple of sentences, and now you're a foremost expert?! Fantastic. I'll take it...except for the part where you're wrong. Most all companies you're working with now, be it Cable, Cell phone provider, Satellite, Credit Card company, or pretty much anytime you register for anything, all have a disclaimer that they can sell you most basic information and you've agreed to it by signing their terms and conditions. So worry less about your State and National Do Not Call registry as you've already voided that by the terms and conditions of your other agreements. Next time maybe you could worry more about censoring us from your brutal ignorance rather than the word ass. Much appreciated.
- This isn't her number replies to DianeI keep getting calls for someone who owned the number before me. Most of the time, I just hit quiet and ignore any messages they might leave, unless I've already used my cell earlier. Had one company call and told them 5 xs to stop calling. If they're not on my contact list, I don't answer. Got a call from this number and figured "Oh, well, at least my phone still works." and ignored it. Didn't give my cell to anybody besides family, so ... it's not for me.

Credit card rate reduction scam. .Call Type: Telemarketer
I need this to stop- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnonymousCardmember Services robo-called me telling me that I'm in good standing with all of my accounts and they're offering an opportunity to reduce my interest rates. The robotic voice asked me to dial the #1 if I wanted to talk to someone about reducing my rates. I did because I wasn't sure who or what this was. As soon as I hit the number, a telemarkter answered and I asked "What company is this?" and the person hung up. Is this really their business model? Any questions just hang up? What information are they really able to get from people? This clearly isn't for legal purposes if they can't answer simple questions. How in the world is it that no enforcement agency has put them out of commission yet? I say we spam call them....and just YEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
