These calls are harrassing!  They call and ask you to hold?  Who are they anyway?

I just hung up, but here's the information I received.  I didn't see this message until after I hung up.

They are a real estate marketing firm and they can make sure that my name comes up when someone types in Lofts in Atlanta.  Lofts in Atlanta received 140 hits.  My name will appear on the top page of Googles search page when someone searches for lofts in Atlanta.  I can also select Big Houses in Atlanta, which recevied 91 hits or Buy Homes Atlanta.  No other agent in Atlanta can purchase the Lofts in Atlanta search so my name will be the only name that appears.

The cost is $14.95/month and  after 30 days it's $59 on a month to month service.  They also have This is the website they gave me to go to.

The 800 number for the company is listed on their website.  They called from 503.716.1136 on February 21st at 6:11pm.

Answered the second call from this number today after reviewing these posts. Caller asked for me by name on my cell phone number. Asked the name of the company calling me and was told "International Media Experts." Then asked to put me on their Do Not Call list. We'll see if they call again.

1. Go into your Verizon Wireless Account on-line. "My Verizon" (Please make sure you have an account all ready or you just created an account)

2. Then Go To "My Services"

3. Choose the SPAM Control: There you can add up to 5 phone numbers that you do not want to contact you. This also prevents these #s from text messaging you.
*Press APPLY then you are done. They block these #s for 3 months at a time. So you will have to repeat the steps in 3 months.
*To Unblock these #s, do the same exact steps as above, except just delete the number you want to unblock. Press "APPLY" and the number is unblocked.

Just got 6 calls in one hour from this number.  No message.

Just had a call from this number on my cell phone (GRRR).  The next time I get a call from this telemarketer, I'm going to keep him/her on the phone for as long as I possibly can.  I ask questions that the caller has no way of answering but insist on knowing what the answer might be so I can "make an informed decision".  Of course, the decision is always "no".  I've done this in the past - keeping some telemarketers on the line for as long as 45 minutes.  If you can't get them to stop calling, make it absolutely miserable for them.  They work on a per-call basis and have to make a certain quota of calls per day.

This person or company calls but does not leave a message. Calling the number back gets nothing.

I suspect this is a company selling buyer/seller leads to Realtors.  I'm already on the Federal "Do Not Call List" and still get these calls.

I had the same experience an information as Cyrstal.  I am a San Jose, CA agent.  They said the set up fee is 14.95 and then after 30 days this service would cost $59/ month.  They pretty much gaurantee (not 100%) that my information would be posted at the top of the Google page when someone types san jose homes for sale.  Their website is www.imxadvertising.com their number is 800-315-5641 Press option 2 to speak to someone live.  they called me from 503-716-1136.  Hope this helps!

Just received a call from this number, and when I answered there was no one there. I didn't all back, and insearch of identifying the area code, I found this site...wow!

Here you can register a complaint but the biggest thing I found there was you can veriy if your number is on the registry (enter your number and email address, and you will get an email telling you if and when your number was registered). Another thing I learned, is that a law was passed in 2007 removing the requirement that you have to register you number every 5 years.

I have received two calls from someone unknown to me on this phone number.  They do not leave a message.  Does anyone know who they are?  I certainly do not!

*** B E W A RE!!!  I am a NJ agent and Just go of the phone w someone from IMX as well (503 716-1136), I told him that I would not be giving him or anyone, my credit card info without seeing in writing a guarantee that I can cancel without penalty at any time.  He hung up on me!!!

I'm not sure what to do. I've received many calls from this number and I am on the National Do Not Call List, but apparently it doesn't do any good. What's the next step towards reporting these guys. They also send me text messages and I don't have that service and have to pay for each text. I have tmoble and you can't block a call with their service. Someone should be able to make this stop. If the solution is putting your number on the dnc list and people continue to call, there should be a penalty or something....someway to trace them.

Who do we contact about this? I knew about their being a fine, but how do we pursue it?

personal cell phones ARE PROTECTED does NOT MATTER if you use them for business....call the FTC thats what they told me!

I got a call from this number today. Aswered it and the girl said Hi Karen this is Jade then she hung up or got disconnected,. I tried to call back several times and it answered and just hung up, I called it 4 or 5 times.  UGH!!

I just answered and it was someone from IBX advertising.  He was rude and pushy.  I googled IBX Advertising while on the phone with their agent and the first 4 entries were complaints about the company.  When I asked him about it he scoffed and hanged up on me.  They claim that they will increase my web presense but can not defend their own from the complaints!
