This number has called about once a day for the past week. Our policy is to not answer unknown numbers of questionable origin. If it is an important call they will leave a message, but as soon as the answering device picks up the call is disconnected. Annoying to say the least.
I too am on the do not call list and as usual, our government knowing what is best for us, has exempted these calls. My next call I will answer with an air horn.

Stop the calls or give me your home phone so I can call you when you are sleeping.

I'll teach you a little trick that works for me.  It's called verbal Judo.  When a telemarketer calls, be courteous and patient but remember thesel  few words for your tool chest.  "Let me see if I understand you..." This gets them to stop talking a listen.  Summarize what they want and get their attention, then say, "I need your help."  When they offer to help you, ask them to humor you and update your phone number in their database.  They will say certainly we can update your phone number/.  No be courteous and respectful as you give them the number to update to 999-999-999. Assure them you mean it, but cajole them respectfully to help you with the problem. I've never had them refuse.  It's better than removal, because it will just end up there again.

Stalker Weirdos !!! They call my house phone and don't leave a message...then shortly later will call my cell phone and only breathe into the phone. EWWWTF ???? I can't ever tell if it's the same pervert, but it took me calling them back about ten times last night before I could take a decent nap. I miss YOU ---- call me :)

Just got a call from this number, which I did not answer.  I do not answer calls if I don't recognize the number.  They did not leave a message.

Called 3/16 @2:54pm  &  called 3/15,

They called multiple times a day for over a week. I finally answered after the third call on a Sunday. Woman said she was from view point. Wanted to talk with my husband. He said they wanted to do a survey about the past Washington county election.

Called my number 3/18/14 at 5:52pm and hung up without leaving a message. There should be some way these morons could be punished for bothering people that have nothing to do with them.

This name of this company is VuPoint research. The name RDD research is a ruse. They specialize in gathering information for large corporations so they can market more products to you. By the way, this information is also sold.  Currently they are doing this for Comcast. If you are a Comcast customer you are likely getting a lot of these calls and when you open your email you are getting  window opening that ask you to take a survey and will not will not close.

quit the harassment!  you acknowledge we are on the National Do Not Call Registry but feel that doesn't apply to you and continue calling.  not only have we filed several complaints with the National Registry but have also called KATU On Your Side to review your un-savoring practices.

Kiki..  The DNC does not apply to all survey's, political or charity's. The only time it apply's to survey's is if they attempt to sell you something at the end of the survey!  BTW Kiki, I know who you are and and well aware of your posts on KATU,lol!  

While I agree that some of these places have gotten totally out of control with the calls and need cracked down on for it, there are steps you can take yourself. Consider buying a call blocking device or phone..

You can also contact the FTC & FCC directly and speak with them. Calling once or twice is understandable, but they are supposed to place you on a internal DNC when asked.

I have been getting calls everyday now for the last 3 days from 503-977-6714 to my cell phone. I don't answer them since I don't recognize the number.

On the No Call Lists which apparently means really nothing - even though thanks to cell phones I pay for even not answering phone spam.

Phone ID showed "Market Decision" (???) , they left no message  . Any more calls , then I'll block it .

Blocked and reported as SPAM with Mr Number app for Android.  Love that app.

We have received a call from this number several nights in a row. Generally around 6pm. We don't answer unknown phone numbers but I do want them to stop calling so I guess I'll have to tell them to take us off their list. I wish the National No Call List would actually work!!!

I answered some of the survey questions and then told her I was done and hung up my phone.

Caller ID says Portland OR. Did not leave a message.
