Also received a call from this number and didn't answer phone.  This is the third time this has happened.  I don't answer calls from unknown numbers or blocked numbers.  I'm also on the Do Not Call list and we have two dogs who are not partial to strange noises or strangers!

This number called my house at 3:16pm on 1/19/11.  Then again on 1/21/11 at 1:27pm.  Sound like they are casing houses.  The caller ID just says NOT AVAILABLE.  I live in Massachusetts so recognized the area code, but I did not answer either call.

Paid a few bucks to Intelius got the name, address, etc of the offenders! Now it's my turn before I file my complaint with the proper authorities! :)

These jerks just called my house. I answered  and said hello. No response. By the third hello im now yelling it into the phone. Nothing enrages me more than when someone calls and says nothing! I screamed hello for the fourth and final time without any response. I eventually threw the phone in a blind fit of anger. I'm filing a complaint with the proper authorities, these jerks owe me a new phone and a sincere apology. God am I mad!

I picked up and said hello twice and then the phone hung up on me, when I tried to call it back, it said the google voice subscriber you are trying to reach is not available and to leave a message.  I left a message saying that I received a call from this number and that I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I DO NOT want them to call back!

Swansea calling all the time?

After two calls last week, I notified our local police detective in Hanover.  He  has notified other town detectives and the state Attorney General's office.  Just got another call today at 12:22pm from the number.  This time I picked up but did not say hello.  No one spoke on the other end which is very strange behavior.  I then called back the number and it said it was a Google Voice number and to leave a message.  Told the guy that the police have been notified, that residents in the area are aware of him, that we believe he is casing houses, and to stop calling residents.  [Glad I have my license to carry.]

A woman called from this number a few minutes ago and asked if she were speaking to "Mrs.....," but she got the name wrong.  It is my family's last name, but my last name is different, and anyone seriously wanting to reach me would use the correct name.  As soon as I heard that, I just said "good-bye" and hung up.

I just received a call, unknown name, left no message on answering machine. I am reporting number. I received calls last year from a chimney company but they answered their line, not sure if this is same company.

Are we all from the same area?  So Shore?  If so, perhaps it is as one post suggested, someone casing the area?  We've been getting these calls for at least 3 weeks.  First one did mention chimney sweep; everything after that no one there, a major annoyance - multiple times a day.

We are from the South Shore.  We just got a call 2 minutes ago, and had one last night.  First time we have noticed this number.  We do not typically pick up phone calls from numbers we are not familiar with.  When answering machine kicked in, there was a dial tone and then the call disconnected.

Just got a call, 4th day in a row and am calling the police (In Rockland)

have also gotten numerous calls from this number....never leave message and never say anything when i answer...am called the p.d. just to get it on record....thanks for the idea

This person keeps calling my phone a couple times a day. My wife answered yesterday and there was just someone breathing on the line and they would not say who they were.  Obviously whoever this is casing our place and obviously others for the purpose of pulling off a a B&E.  They are a bunch of crooks no doubt. There have been a rash of burglaries and these are probably some of the crooks, Isn't there any way the Cops can track the owner of this number down and investigate? They will probably find tons of stolen merchandise where these thugs are located !!

I have had it with this kind of crap, and who ever this person is, is going to be very sorry if he ever darkens my door way.  These people are obviously thieves who pray on the trust of innocent people.  They are calling here 2 or sometimes 3 times a day, obviously to see if we are home. I suspect that one day they are going to put the word out when we don't answer to have their traveling band of crooks to break in. But I will be ready for them, and they will regret the day they ever tried it !!
