Call from this number about IRS filling law suit against me

This is a scam

I called back and told them they need to get a real job instead of trying to scam money. The man called me a [***] and told me to [***]. I told him hes real professional

After calling this number back 50 times, they finally blocked my number. On call 24, the guy asked me if i was gay. On call 29, he was singing. On call 35, he was speaking another language, I have no idea but sounded like an Asian language. What I did was, I would call, then put it on mute. I did this in a span of one hour, maybe less.

I received a call from an auto dialer that said it was the 3rd and final attempt to contact me because the IRS was suing me. I called back the number that they left and it was just blank - no ring tone no dial tone no busy signal. I just got done (literally with straightening everything out with the IRS so I know it isn't true.

They said they are from IRS and are suing me.  So I reported them to the FBI hotline noting that they have tried to scam numerous people.  Hopefully they have a few available agents left who are not already assigned to Hillary.

Another worthless pack of losers using automated computer voices & likely spoofed phone numbers to perpetrate IRS fraud. The real question is why doesn't the federal government go after this filth. One well publicized arrest & prosecution is about all it would take to put these morons to rest once & for all. If one did not know better, the federal government actually likes this kind of publicity or they're the ones behind it all along. Incredible!

Had 2 threatening robo calls this AM from this number: "Last chance, the IRS has filed a lawsuit against you..."
Total scam, I don't owe them anything.

stated this was the last call I would receive. That the IRS was filing suit against me. Pretty sure they wouldn't call me without sending me a letter first, AND wouldn't use a recorded message and probably know my name.

You receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS but you suspect they are not an IRS employee ...

   Record the employee's name, badge number, call back number and caller ID if available.
   Call 1-800-366-4484 to determine if the caller is an IRS employee with a legitimate need to contact you.
       If the person calling you is an IRS employee, call them back.
       If not, report the incident to TIGTA and to us at phishing@irs.gov (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')

I have gotten two calls today from this number. One left a voice message. I decided to answer the other call. It was automated saying the same thing, the IRS was going to sue me. They are blocked now.

Said that the IRS has been trying to get a hold of me. That they are getting ready to file a lawsuit against me. It was important to call back this number. Automated call. Scam. IRS never just calls they send out letters and they don't robo call.

Me too, just now.  Glad I heard about the scam calls saying the IRS is suing me.  The IRS doesn't call.  They write.
