This number called my work and Homs saying I needed to contact my attorney. I have received other calls like this but from a different number.ridiculous

It was of time sensitive I don't know who Ron Baxter is has a accent from india threatening and harassing me I don't know who they are

These idiots are scammers. You are not allowed to call and threaten people in this country. Call your own attorney and let these jerks talk with them directly. This is not real.

Just received a call from that very number. It was Indian accent and located in Oakland, CA. They would not give me any info whatsoever about their legal office. Told me I was going to jail within hours if it was not resolved immediately. needless to say I was freaking out!!! The number was 510-545-7912. Hope they catch these scammers.

I would say that the ones on here that are saying thank you are part of the scam also. You can't threaten people on phone and in the United States you can not go to jail for owed debt.  These people are crooks and they need to be in jail. They hide behind n the radar so you can't find out where they really are.  All I can say if you want to arrest me come and get me because I have done nothing wrong.

i received a call from them today saying that i owed $700 or i would go to jail for 7 days.  i could go get a grendot moneypak and that they will stay on line until i get this done.  Then I received another call asking why havent i called them back. i was freaking out and found out that you cant go to jail over a debt.  i was asking when was the original date of this debt and they couldnt give it to me and i havent done anything about it.

I almost fell for it!!  This is a scam!!  Went to the police and checked it all out!!  The scammer under the name: Danny Archer Employee ID#02801 tried to say that I owe the Fed's $1284.85 and that an arrest warrant was out for me and that my credit score will drop 200 points...  He stayed on the phone with me all the way to the bank then to the store to get the money sent, yes I went that far with them until the lady behind the desk spotted what was going on and stopped me.   When I asked for ways to confirm this was legit and he gave me these # to call; 510-545-7912 and 202-506-8020.  The original call was from 917-652-8604.  Another name used was Michelle Jones.

Report this to the police right away. I just got the call as well about 2 hours ago and they used to do it with computers where they would lock your computer until you paid X amount of money. IF you call the police and report the number gave they will do something about it. It's called fishing next time ask to meet in person and ask for a badge if they don't supply one they are lying.

Danny archer called. Said he was with Dept of the Treasury. I laughed and said you are a Foreign National. He called me racist. Indian accent. Claimed he was "superwisor".  Called local police. Told attorney friends about it.  Said they are in "good standing" with Better Business Bureau. I cracked up. People pay to be on BBB list. So laugh at them and tell them F off.

Glad people are posting about this being a scam.  Same story here about the heavy Indian accent, that there was something with my 2012 taxes, that he would start an arrest warrant and that people were coming to my house.  I finally hung up and said I had to call my accountant.  He had the audacity to call back 5 days later to harass me again.

same here...freaked me out.  Did you ever hear anything back from them?  They called me back 5 days later...
