Just got a call from 'Steve'.  Said he was from US Treasury and to call back 510-545-7912 or else....  Thought it was odd to get a call saying I need to call them at the US Treasury, especially from a non-toll free number.  I will call BBB to report this outfit.

Clearly scammers-  I got a robo-call, with a repeated recorded phone message that was near incoherent, advising me to "cooperate with us...this message is intended to contact you (no mention of my name)..to avoid initial appearance before federal magistrate....enforcement actions by US treasury federal criminal offense... call 510-545-7912.....  Not one mention of the agency actually calling, or exactly why.

Got several calls from supposed law office.  Told me to call 510-545-7912 number.  First sign this is a scam is that the caller had a bad India accent and difficult to understand.  I was nearly scammed a few weeks earlier concerning Microsoft Windows Employee scam.  I'm guessing same group of dirt bags.   They nearly had me on the MS employee scam because I actually placed a call to my support center on a computer issue.  I believe this is how they got my number.   Believe best practice is to simply hang up if you ever receive phone call from someone with India accent.   Wish something could be done about these dirt bags.
