- AshleyThis number called 3 times between 6/30/14 - 7/1/14, no one was ever on the other end, no messages left. It's a scam - I blocked the number.
- PepeKeeps calling regularly. Never leaves a message. I don't know this person/company. Definitely not in my contact list.
- vrbThis number has called 3 times now in the past 2 days. Something about my toyota's warranty is about to expire (it hasn't been under warranty for almost a year). Scam!!
- ErikThey called, when I said hello, some guy in the background started cursing and then hung up when I asked who he was. When I called back, they claimed to be calling about a Toyota; that's funny since I've never owned a Toyota. Definitely a scam.
- Greg Spence WolfI get random calls about my warranty. This is probably just another scammer trying to get me to buy a fake warranty.
- AlbertCall warranty renewal. How do we make them STOP!!!!!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ChristineI got two calls from this number; did not answer, they left no message. After googling the number and reading the comments on this site, I probably won't ever answer. thank you

- Bunniezreceived a several calls from this number 512-229-0300 so far, come to think of it a week or so ago, a caller mentioned to tell my husband it was for a warranty on our new car?? didn't leave name or number when I asked to take a message, it was just something about a car warranty...... so I haven't answered it since.
- Stanmaxkolbe| 1 replyGot a call from same number ask about an extended warranty on a truck I don't own anymore.
- Caller: Car Warranty Company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AshleyNo scam, just good old telemarketing at work. This is a third party warranty sales company. They are not affiliated with any particular dealerships or regions. They have no current information on the vehicle they are calling on because they are working off of old sales records - from which they've acquired your contact number/address. This same company will send mailings saying your warranty is about to expire and you must take advantage of the opportunity to extend it. I've received calls and mailings for over a year now - even after telling them that I've sold/traded/no longer possess the vehicle. Block them if you can, ignore them if you can't. They are persistent for sure!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JFOld lady trying to sell extended car warrenty. Knew what kind of car I had. No clue how they got my number and my car info. Must have gotten my info from State of Texas motor vehicle records since they are public records.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JF replies to StanmaxkolbeWas your car registered in the State of Texas? As soon as I registered my car there all the extended warrenty offers came in. Even after I got rid of the car.
- kmyDefinitely a scam!
Just received this call from a person "named" Spencer Whitman (I doubt it). He was asking about the mileage of my car and tried to sell me the warranty. I thought it might be a scam so I asked his name, company name, and phone number. Here's the information he gave me:
Company name: Dealer Support Services
Call back number (which is different from this number): 844-793-5176
Then I found the website:
http://www.dealersupportservices.com/7.html
and the website says:
*PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT A VEHICLE WARRANTY RESELLER! THERE IS A COMPANY THAT IS CALLING PEOPLE SAYING THAT THEY ARE "DEALER SUPPORT SERVICES" TRYING TO SELL EXTENDED WARRANTIES OVER THE PHONE - THOSE CALLS ARE SCAMS! I AM A REGISTERED SINGLE PERSON LLC THAT PROVIDES IT SERVICES TO AUTOMOBILE DEALERS. I HAVE NOW EVEN FOUND THAT THEY ARE SPOOFING MY CELL PHONE NUMBER WHEN CALLING CUSTOMERS. - RichardsonJaime from Dealer Support Services claiming to work for Volkswagen (!). When asked for clarity about her affiliation with VW, she abruptly hung up.
- Caller: Dealer Support Services Scam
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MTgirlatheartI got a phone call stating my extended warranty on the Ford F-150 was about to expire. She wanted to know how many miles were on it. I told her if she were truly with Ford, she would know - due to Sync maintenance reporting. She said that was impossible. I said no you would know. Please do not call me again and remove my phone number from your calling list!
- Chel| 1 replyShows Elgin Texas on my caller id -- breathing and sounded like a baby in the background. Has called off and on for a few months. Never leaves message, never talks.
- Chel replies to ChelFYI I have a Texas number, moved out of the state almost 3 yrs ago and I started getting calls within the last 6-8 months. I do not have a car registered in Texas either. Very strange from what I have read in previous comments!
- kenNumerous scam calls from this number
- Caller: Wont give company name
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnoyedReceived a call from this # today! Called back and a girl answered saying,"hello is this......(my full name)" she was trying to get my address and how many miles I had on my vw she claimed to be from vw and "transferred" my call to a man named Ian or Ivan. It felt very shady so I told them I was driving and would need to call back. He was persistent that I use Bluetooth to stay on the phone. Pretty sure it was a scam. I hope I didn't tell them enough info...
- Caller: Scam claimed to be with Volkswagen
