Called my mobile phone, I did not answer it, a dead air 2 second message registered on my voicemail.  I did not call back.  I never do.  If the caller number is not familiar and they don't leave a message, i won't call back.  You shouldn't either, there are telecom scams that if you call back, it generate money to that owner of the number from the provider you are using to call.  Please do not call the number back unless you  know who is calling you.

Caller ID said Texas call.  The woman that came on said she is from Dealer Support Services.  They are trying to sell extended warranty on cars.  Outdated re

Missed call no message. Called back kept getting all circuits are busy.

Thanks to this website and my new panasonic phones this number will never ring my house again.  I LOVE the silence these new phones have provided.  I read about them on this board.  Cordless phones with call blocking for less money than a plain call blocker.

Don't start with the marketing! Are you going to tell us you paid less than $40 for your 'phone? A good call blocker will cost that & will VASTLY outperform that cordless 'phone you're trying to endorse!

This is why this site tries to discourage people from posting "I love this piece of electronics". Everyone's situation is different & what works for you may not for someone else. There is also a post in the forum for dealing with this so we don't have unsolicited testimonies all over the site. There are far too many people who have been paid to place 'glowing reviews' of things (which is illegal by the way).

100% total scam!

Wanted to sell an extended warranty on my 2015 Ford Explorer.  Last week it was my Chevy Traverse.  The week before it was my Jeep Cherokee!  I know exactly where they got that from!  SiriusXM sold my info to these jerks!  Not the first time either.  All the calls are for vehicles I've had on SiriusXM.  All of them!  I don't own any of these.  They are all leased for a few months at a time.  So my name is not associated with anything other than the XM service.

Same case with us. 1:33 P.M. CST on February 19, 2016.

I use a call blocker and the app identified as a company selling extended car warranties.

Called yesterday, didn't answer, they didn't leave a message, from TX, blocked.

Agree with the above poster (Kathy) about getting our phone numbers from Sirius/XM satellite radio.  Have had this number call me for over one year.  I haven't blocked it - my phone APP automatically blocks it as a known scam.  Lowlifes that try to waste everyone's time.

Dealer Support Services with the same old at warranty scam, blah, blah, blah. Msg wanting to know how many miles on the car. Blocking. This morons call every day from a different number.

Msg on home phone from Dealer Support Services, with the moldy old car warranty blah blah. These guys need to perfect their scam. Anyone could see right through the it. Obvious call center noises in the background. "Josh" had my name and make of car. Said he was looking at my "file" and could tell that the warranty had expired or was about to expire. Obvious fishing attempt and shows that they have no actual info. Sadly, Texas has vehicle registration info where anyone can get it.  Deleted Josh and his scam. Blocked. These people call daily from different numbers. Do not even answer unknown calls or buy their worthless warranty that will never pay off. All they want is your credit card #.

Thanks to other posters.  Was expecting a call back from someone else, so foolishly answered.  Caller asked for me by name, but did not identify themselves.  I just continued to answer "Hello?"   "Hello?"... they gave up after 3, and hung up.  Now added to call blocker.  Dept of Small Victories.

Also got a msg from Josh of Dealer Support Services who was yammering on the the answering machine asking my deceased husband how many miles were on the car. He hung up when he must have realized he was talking to himself.  Josh is blocked.

Claimed to be calling about a Mazda I sold 3 years ago and my warranty had expired, no kidding!  Asked too many questions!
