Just got a call on my cell phone from this number and it came up as a call from Cincinnati Ohio.  They did not leave a message.  I will not answer a number I am not familiar with because of all the scamming that goes on.

I keep getting calls from this number which originates from Cincinnati, OH. I do not have any contacts in that area.  Registered for DO NOT CALL!

Robocall - even though they start with "this is not a sales call" that is exactly what it is. Do Not Answer! If they don't care that they are breaking the law just calling you, they won't care about breaking more laws by scamming you! Don't answer and report to ftc

I also rec'd a call from this number for a FREE security system..totally free. I told her I was on a DO NOT CALL list...the witch hung up. Called back & it recorded as saying I had a non-working number...reporting the number now. Like THAT will do anything!

What people do not realize is that the Do Not Call list does not prevent "robocalls." If they call a series of numbers and your number happens to fall in that series, you will still get phone calls. Ex. if you number is 123-456-7890 and the computer is calling all numbers from 123-456-7000 through 7999, you will still get a phone call.

Incorrect, the DNC DOES protect against legit robocallers. the numbers on the DNC list are supposed to be removed from the robo callers database.

This number just called my cell.  Caller ID said OHIO CALL.  Did not answer and they left no message

Called at 4:55 p.m. Didn't say anything when I said "Hello?" three times and then hung up.

Called my cell (which is on the DNC, which doesn't matter to shysters).  I did not answer. I put my phone on silent so it wouldn't bother me.  They call me again I'm going to get one of those lawyers who say they can get money for DNC violations.

Telemarketing caller says we won a prize

Just called my cell phone at 444PM. Caller ID said Cincinnatti OH. I didn't answer and I haven't set up the voicemail so that telemarketers can't leave stupid messages.  I will file an FTC complaint.

People, these numbers that telemarketers use aren't even real, legit phone numbers.  You aren't seeing the real phone number or actual location on your caller ID, or on the map.  This is how they circumvent the DNC and any means of tracing the call.  You can block it, you can call and complain to whomever, but these scammers will just rotate to another fake number and location and the process begins all over again.  Websites such as 800notes.com is saturated with these kinds of number.  The possibilities are infinite.  Unless you can cloak your phone number, your screwed and you might as well block it, go on with your lives until the next call and repeat.
