Get a call blocker-they do work.

Amazon has them for less. unfortunately, Comcast eqpmt is older than the new call blockers out there & they won't work like they do with Verizon.

I know what you mean.  We were able to connect my MIL's call blocker directly between the wall input and the big comcast "unit" (don't know what you call it).  It works very well but we can't use all of the fancy functions such as blocking an entire thread or area code.

Stop these calls. They are annoying to say the least. Not interested in participating in whatever you are doing.

I BLOCKED all calls from this entire area code.

Called, left no message. I leave the ringer off after 5 on weekdays and all weekend. My land line is VOIP so I added it to my blocked list. No phone spammer ever calls me twice.

That they do! I have difficulty feeling sorry for those that allow the same number to call them repeatedly. On my VOIP phone I can block just about anything. Including the spoofed calls that use my own number. Specific area codes, exchanges can be blocked. I can use wild cards to block the spammers that always use the same number with the last two digits changed.

received a phone call from this number 5135621300 on sunday 10/09/2016 11:38 PM its sunday night in bed sleep. and this number calls my cell phone. I get so tired of these phony calls on my landline phone as well as my cell phone. Each day it is a new and different number I am at the point  of changing numbers and cancel my landline phone. Its getting out of hand

Got a call from this number. Checked it on 800Notes while phone was ringing. When I saw the comments, I didn't answer the phone. Perhaps they are just craving for human interaction, hence the multiple calling attempts.

There is 5 years worth of negative info here on this caller. If you dial the number back, you get a disconnected message. Block the number. I don't promote any particular brand of call blocker but I will say I bought a CPR 5000 on Amazon and can testify that it easy to use and works flawlessly with my Panasonic phones and Vonage service provider. For people with the same setup, it is an option that definitely works and can block 1500 numbers.

The DNC list does not apply to real charities, political calls and emergency notifications like fire evacuations, shelter in place, etc. It DOES apply to marketing research. I've have a number of telemarketers claim it doesn't apply to them. They are selling a service. They are agents fishing for leads to sell.

Exactly what "service" is a marketing research company selling to you when they call you up?

They are a debt collector fishing for info. Do not answer ever. Do not call.

A lady called from this number and asked for a person I have never heard of. Told her she got the wrong number.
