Got a call from this number. Checked it on 800Notes while phone was ringing. When I saw the comments, I didn't answer the phone. Perhaps they are just craving for human interaction, hence the multiple calling attempts.

There is 5 years worth of negative info here on this caller. If you dial the number back, you get a disconnected message. Block the number. I don't promote any particular brand of call blocker but I will say I bought a CPR 5000 on Amazon and can testify that it easy to use and works flawlessly with my Panasonic phones and Vonage service provider. For people with the same setup, it is an option that definitely works and can block 1500 numbers.

The DNC list does not apply to real charities, political calls and emergency notifications like fire evacuations, shelter in place, etc. It DOES apply to marketing research. I've have a number of telemarketers claim it doesn't apply to them. They are selling a service. They are agents fishing for leads to sell.

Exactly what "service" is a marketing research company selling to you when they call you up?

Nobody at this website is calling you and the callers don't give a rip what you want or don't want.  They will not stop calling.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Once again, this number called and hangs up before the machine answers.  No idea what they're selling or wanting, just constant, annoying calls.

Tried the e-mail today and it came back undeliverable.  I just don't answer the phone, but it still means stopping every time they call to see who it is. I am also on the do not call list.  Hasn't done a bit of good.

I've gone back through some of these entries for this number.  I normally don't answer these calls and it's easy to recognize it would be a scam call from the CID.  It looks like they've been calling me at least since April.  They do not remove you from their list despite requesting they do so.  They sidestepped my direct inquiry about who hired them, for what purpose.  They said the company is ORC and no matter how I rephrased the question, they wouldn't tell me what that stands for.  They claim to be a survey company that wants to ask about "products I use."  I asked the woman: why would I tell you such intimate information when you won't tell me what ORC stands for, nor who paid you to collect the information, for what purpose, nor who else they share it with?  Will you pay me for my information?  She said she'd take me off the list but we all know that's malarkey.  I answered even though I normally ignore, I felt like messing with them.  When I tried to call back just to see what would happen, the recording said it cannot be reached...  It may be a spoofed number, and looking through some of your entries here, I see that the name of their company changes.  So I satisfied my curiousity, and won't answer again.

...  And you are saying that here, why??  Do you think they come to this website just to see your request, and that they will recognize you by your screen name?  When you go to a movie and the coming attractions say "coming soon to a theater near you," do you think the movie screen is speaking directly to you, and knows where you live, and which theater you're in?  This is a place where we can support each other, it's not a website scammers and surveyors come to, to make sure they aren't bothering you!

Yeah, but if you block their numbers, they will just keep phishing and spoofing new ones, like whack-a-mole at the state fair. They can get under your radar once each time.  Better, easier, cheaper to just peek at your CID and ignore the call.  I also, leave my audible call screening on, and can hear it without getting off the sofa.  Most of these guys hang up either during my recorded outgoing message, or at the end.  I have found that significantly reduces the number of calls (except for local political calls, because politicians don't care who they annoy).  As the Irish say, "better the devil you know, than the devil you don't."  So let them keep using the CID you recognize, and ignore them.  Honestly, my scam calls stay to a minimum that way.
