They call several times a day, no message.  When I call the back - I get the "your number cannot be completed as dialed" message.

They've been calling me for days...no msg & I'm sick of it!

check you cell phone for a block on calls you don't want

shame on you for your unjust attitude. There is so much unemployment if this is what a person can get with a bad economy its a blessing not a curse! If they didn't get results these companies would not exist. Just because you don;t like them doesn't mean everyone feels the way you do.

block number is my favorite feature on my phone. I still get calls.  In my case they asked to speak to the person who is responsible for liability insurance. I hung up and immediately blocked the number.

Many years ago I was advised to blow a whistle into the phone -- be sure one ear is covered by the phone, the other is plugged with your finger.  Can't recall if the phone company or the police suggested it.  Its' effective only some of the time -- obviously not with a machine.

To tell you this but it isn't effective at all.  Modern telephone lines won't carry the sound at a loud enough level to do anything but to possibly annoy the caller.  This will end up either in more calls or having your number spoofed.
