Then it plays music and NO ONE ever picks up the phone. - KjohaI had the exact same experience as Greta mentioned. Only, I received the phone call right after my wallet had been stolen, and the person on the other end of the phone seemed like he was making up the interview by the seat of his pants.
Do not trust this number!- Caller: Credit Fraud Detection
- T. L.| 1 replyI work at a financial institution. After reading Greta's post, the message, "Your Direct Feedback", sounded familiar. I called the credit card company that we use and verified with them if the number 513-900-5280 was their Fraud Detection number. They verified that it WAS the correct number. You have to be careful when someone calls you over the phone. NEVER, NEVER give out your card number over the phone. They should already have that information and the expiration date. DO NOT ever give out your PIN number or the #'s off the back of your card. Also, if in doubt, call the ph # of the credit card company that is on the back of your card to verify if someone had called you.
- John S replies to T. L.I got a call earlier this morning while on the phone with my bank getting my card re-activated since a hold was put on it for suspicious activity. They left a message saying they were calling due to the same thing and were wanting to get the issue rectified. If it wasn't for the fact my card had been put on hold (for multiple charges from Amazon which were valid) I wouldn't have trusted the message. But I still wanted to be sure by checking here. Good to know this number is valid and not a scam.
- Aaron replies to Greta Barnes NY, NY| 1 replyJust had the same thing. Called back. My Fifth Third card had been hacked. This is 5/3 fraud monitoring company. Call them back!

- PHThis is the fraud alert company for Fifth Third. They left me a message with a number to call back. You may be on hold for a little bit, but definitely call them back.
- JPThis is a legitimate company! They told me there was suspicious activity on my debit card, so I called my bank and they confirmed that there were fraudulent charges. They then transferred me over to this company to handle the situation. Definitely call them back if they call you! This was legit!

- RichardReceived a call from this number. They said my credit card had been compromised. They asked for information, I told them I had an account with LifeLock. They transferred me directly to LifeLock. The first person I talked to from this number said the name of the company was Credit Fraud Detection. LifeLock did not know this company and was very suspicious. LifeLock wanted me to hang up then call back for fear the transfer to them was still being monitored. I called my bank they had not heard of Credit Fraud Detection. I called this number back and questioned different lady from the first caller(definitely foreign). She said the name of the company was VANTIV. Called LifeLock back and gave them the VANTIV name, they had not heard of it either. My opinion this company is definitely a FRAUD!!!
