I told them I was a slightly peeled lemon.  They found this greatly offensive.

The automated dialers call almost ever possible combination, so not even some obscure cell phone number escapes the
call...    I like to answer and say NOTHING for about  20 seconds...
If someone is really there, they will say "Hello"  rather than just keep waiting..

What is happening when you say nothing... is the automated dialer is not triggered to ring a call center employee..
so that he can come on the line and sell something to you..
They do not want to waste the time listening to the phone ring many times when no one answers...  When you say nothing,
they will waste no more then 20 seconds before they hang up and try the next number in their list.

The exact same number is showing up as Montreal they have called me 6 times today ( they have called 3 of the 6 in the last 1 1/2) and 4 yesterday.. I refuse to answer..

They called my cell and my home phone 3 times per day in 2 days. Didn't leave message. SO annoying.

Called 4 times in 3 days. They don't leave a message. I blocked them.

I first took my name off your call list in 2007 and again the following year and the year after that and you are still calling in 2016 so tell me what is the point in doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result? Oh and get a real f*ing job, loser! And before you quit tell Ed to give me a Hum job.

And FTyson, you won't ever see this, but -- you should never have elderly parents or a family member in hospital, because it they need you, your phone will be turned off.
