I got 5 calls from these people... Twice on Saturday mornings at 9am as well. I answered the first time and they asked if I wanted to take part in a focus group and I told them I wasn't interested. Then they called 4 more times (didn't they understand when I said no?), so I kept ignoring the call.
Thankfully I found this forum and saw the link to remove myself from their call list...

A lady called me  today (7/26/2007) and ask me lots of questions but I can't hear any thing from her and I hang up. I google the number and found this out.

Some lady from this number just called me saying something about they were conducting research and asked if I could answer a few questions...I inturn said sure and she said "ok thank you very much" and then came back saying I'm sorry our quota is filled...Why the hell would they call then?

Received call at 9pm (weeknight) and googled to find the "remove" link posted here in this thread.  At first I accidentally entered the number that called my home because this is how the government complaint site works and I was in the habit of using that type of web form.  So I ended up submitting the company's own phone number to their do-not-call list ... wonder if they'll take themselves off their list.  LOL!

I worked there for like one day! I hated bothering people all the time, but i needed the money at the time.
Its a telemarketing company and they call people all over.

****IMPORTANT*****   THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN HAVE THEM NOT CALL YOU BACK IS IF YOU ANSWER THE PHONE AND SAY "TAKE ME OFF OF THE LIST & DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN"

note that the people calling you aren't the ones to blame and yell at, its just their job.

What I do in a case like this  if they call back  I will listen for 5 second  then ask them if thys can waite a a second  then i go and do my thing  for a few minutes  then comback for an other 5 second  and go back  for a few minutes doing my stuff  untill they get so frustrated that they hangup

They keep calling my 83 year old father but won't speak english. When he hangs up they speed dial him again. It's real hard on him and I would like to know what I can do. He has an unlisted number and call screening but they call later on a different phone no.

Hi Sunday 2 calls, slightly diff.. #, second time..on my caller ID, I phoned  Ma Bell.. *69 svc.. if you subscribe, an real must.   And they gave me the number, which had called earlier in the day [2], didn't answer the first time, and wrote the wrong number down, I think.  514-280-4201, obviously Quebec.  The second time, I said hello doctor, no answer, ie: just testing me/my line no doubt.  But, at 5:55 Sunday..I did answer, which is 'seldom' now for anybody.  The young lady said I'm from I think.. Frazian company, I'm likely incorrect.  But said 'never heard of you', and hung up.  IE: When in my rec. room, on my computer, do not have  the regular call ID display, so I get tempted to pick up an line.  Sure  enough today I didn't earlier, and intermittentantly missed an out of town friends call, andother 'their's, another of their's like I say did pick it up and simply no answer.   So it's all in an pain, whom in 'their right mind', would give any info... over the telephone, and for what reason..  NO WAY.   I should have obtained the correct spelling of the company.  Next time simplu.  F.O.   + k

Received phone call from 514-288-0420 at 7pm on my cell. Said that they are some survey company wanting to know about my last visit with my bank officer.Found out the number belongs to Opinion Search in Montreal.
Nevertheless I will not give out any personal information over the phone. Espeically with the increase of identity theft in the world. Great Site with alot of information. Thanks
