Got a call at 9 PM. Thought it was odd considering the time and the call was from Montreal (I'm in Toronto) so I didn't pick up.

Several calls from number. No message is left. I did not return call.

Just got a call from this number. Sunday around 7:00pm. Said something about a survey for HydroOne and they would give me $100, then changed it to $75.00, to participate in a survey. Wanted me to be available on Wednesday night or Thursday during the day. Said no and the gentleman did not insist. Why use a Québec number for an Ontario company with Ontario customers? Another scam?

Exactly.  That was my thought.  I wish my French was half as good.  This site is to help each other; not criticize someone.  That is bullying in my books.

Called me today Jan.20/2017 @ 6:41pm. I answered and heard nothing for a couple of seconds and then they hung up. I've blocked this number from my phone

I keep getting a call from this number every night.  And it is just a hang up.....when we call back it is from Nelson... it always calls at 830 and hangs up but yet calling it back says that we have to call between the office hours of 830-5. ....then why is it calling me so late!!!?????

CRTC doesn't care, local authorities don't care & phone providers (Bell, Rogers, Telus etc. ...) DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS !!!!!!
But, I guess these SCAMMERS are their customers too & pay them big 💰, so they'll never cut these guys off & end the harassment !
Guess telemarketing & scammers are here to stay !
Any aspiring politician that wants votes shud vow to eradicate these pests & they'd probably win by a landslide !

Some phones can't be turned off (esp. if landline phone) + what if it's an emergency call from a friend or relative needing help ???
These phone trolls should be dealt with by the phone service providers !!!
Vaporization would be an acceptable choice !

Please advise where we can find confirmation of this, as we need to follow up for legal prosecution!

Nielsen survey company (Nielsen. com) doing survey for Service Ontario ~ call made to SO & service quality received !!!
Legit call, BUT ...
Call from 514-288-0420 (Montreal ?) to GTHA # but caller was based in Ottawa ???
No name on call display (scammer ?), just phone # !!! Service Ontario &/or Nielsen hiding ???
No voicemail messages left !?

Extremely pesky caller = multiple calls & over several days & weeks !!!
Again, lack of professional courtesy with no voicemail messages left & no call display name !!!

Thought it was a scammer !!!

Called and want to be off their calling list.

They called me and said they were from "Focus" a survey company calling in behalf of the Canada revenue agency.  They wanted my personal info.   CRA has all my personal info and they don't call anyone
