It strikes me that is a US company with a call centre in India - it's quite a common set-up amongst the service industry! From what I can gather they attempt to sell an educational programme - leads from Monster.com would be considered part qualified as these people as seeking employment - it therefore follows that a better educational status is the selling point.. "Why not get a degree in xyz and get a better paid job!"

The clear and obvious reason for having the call centre abroad is to circumnavigate the laws within the mainland USA! I can only guess that the universities must pay a hefty commission....

This freak has called me 5 times an hour in the last 5 hours, if he calls again I will blow a foghorn down the phone, some people are just freaky.....

This is obviously a call center using predictive dialing. You super snoops need to find out through your methods who is doing thier VOIP hosting for that DID. I read someone was at a phone company, they should be able to determine who originates the calls. Once you find their host, complain to them about it.  
You MAY be able to have your phone company block the number at thier switch.

Someone should also have the authorities find out who physically owns the number. If the people who were listed as being former owners of it, still do, they should be presuaded to seek legal action against who ever is jacking thier number.

He keeps calling me too! I live in Mississippi so the only way he could get my number is from monster.com as well. This realllllllyyyyy pisses me off.  Should I call the police?

This number has called my phone 2 times today in an hour period I answered the first time because I put my resume up on Monster.com and thought it was a job thing but no one replied when I said hello now they called again and I just let it ring...I live Minnesota, has anyone figured out who this person is?  I will be looking into this number more so later today to see if I can get more details about this person.

I too, have been getting multiple calls from this number.  Here is what I have been able to find out as of 08/30/2007:

I tried my local carriers "trace service" - but their annoyance calls bureau was unable to help - same with local police - as I am NOT in Iowa.  So I called the Iowa Utilities Board and started tracking this number.

Someone named Kah Phan bought a block of approx. 1,000 phone numbers from rural Iowa telecommunications companies and is RE-SELLING to foreign companies who are using VOIP (Voice over internet protocal) and using that Iowa number as a jumping off point (for caller ID purposes) FROM a foreign country (most likely) to avoid the Do Not Call Registry.  Whoever bought this number from Kah Phan is the culprit.

The number was origninally owned by Iowa Telecom - who sold the Corwith, IA exchange to Communications 1.  Communications 1 sold the block to Webpoint Communications who IS working with several State's Attorney General Offices in numerous states to try to find out WHO is really using this number and put a stop to it.

Complain to your OWN States Attorney General's office and if you have further info on who is actually making these calls - call Webpoint Communications (they are NOT the "bad guy" - they ARE trying to get this stopped) at 641-983-2030 - but ONLY call them if you are willing to give them your contact info in case you are needed when and if they are able to prosecute these people using 1-515-364-6750.  (And hopefully one of you have been able to get some other info out of these people using this number - they won't talk to me - as they are calling for my husband)

Alright I have been recieving these calls sense 11:03am I made a log of when they called and each time I picked up the phone.  Along with the 515 # I also recieved calls from an unknown # and when I picked up that call finally it was a male with an acent asking me about education.com and when I asked if he was associated with the # 515 he stolled then I informed him that I would be pressing charges against him personally and his company and he hung up right away...
Now I know this isn't bad compared to some people but I work in a company where I know most of the laws in the united states and everything this place is doing is extremely illegal.  The 515 # is linked to a communications 1 network but from other posts here its appearent that they sold #'s or something but have no direct connection to this I will continue to call there personal # to find out who they might have given information too.  I also will be filling a complaint with monster.com wheither they have something to do with this or not too many people here have posted something on that site and recieved calls, they are legally responsible to this even if they didnt have a direct part in it, they request personal information and say there site is secure when it is visible not.  I hope this help with something, hopefully this can get stopped...

After I spoke to this man the calls stopped for the night but I have a feeling from all the posts they will continue in full force tomorrow.

well i was at work and i reciv these call ,. from 515 area .the first call and i was just riting these wen there and other one ,so i chek the complit number ,.guess what 515-364-6750 again.,i do not know what to tinkg but whatever it is .i will not answer no more just to be safe from fraud or someting u know there is people for averyting ...oh,ho,ho one more same # not even 5 minutes after the last two ..be carefull and lets report these to the respective law.

I receive on 08/31/2007 about 10 missed calls from 515-364-6750. And I am tired of them. I answer once and he wanted to get my info and was offering online career course. I didnt provide no information and told him that I could talk at the moment. if he provided his number and name I will give him a call back as soon as I can. He insisted on talking so I hanged up.

stop calling. attorney generals office has been informed

This person has been calling my Wife's cell for about a week.  They are looking for someone by the name of "Richard".  I got into a heated discussion with the clown a few minutes ago and he said his name was "Douglas Thomas".

This guys just called me twice withing the past ten minutes i was also on monster.com this probably has something to do with that web site i'm going to contact monster.com if it doesn't stop then i will seek legal action.

this phone number keeps calling my house but no one will say anything. then I will leave the phone answered and sitting there and after about 9 secs the person will hang up... how weird/creepy!!

I have received numerous (more than 10) calls from this number today.  I will answer and a couple of seconds later, the line goes dead.  It is irritating.

i got called 3 times by this number today...could barely understand the thing trying to talk..sounded like a middle eastern or somen. i opened a monster account recently..and just read that article...wonderful news!

Received phone call asked to speak to daughter.  I asked who's calling. Ignored me and insisted on speaking to my daughter. I said no and he hung up.  Called back and claims he's offering online courses. My daughter is a sophomore. I don't think he's legit.

This is a place of business and we keep receiving calls from 515-364-6750 ALL DAY!!! The call just hangs up when I answer. I have called the number back several times and there is no way to leave a message (memory is full). MAKE IT STOP!!!

I receive about 10 calls a day from these rude, cursing fould language thank you come again smelly you know who.  I'm only stating this out of frustration.  Can anyone tell me how it help you stop these 7 eleven cone heads.  I noticed that do not call list seems to work, but seriously folks I share your frustration and do believe that monster web portal seems to be a common trend.  I also notice that notifying the FBI was an option, does this really work?  and if yes what was the result.  Attorney general and out of the country comments don't seem to resolve these rude cursing people.  I have triplets who need to take naps without interuptions, as they are 18 month old and these people don't stop.  Thanks for any help you can share.
