I do not understand why you are not using ringtonumber.com - calls go into voice mail and you can answer the legitimate ones and never have to give out your real number and get these spam calls - Beats complaining about it.

If you call this number you will notice it is a number for phonecasting.com. It is used to dial into short presentations and is similar to a podcast or a wecast. All of the information listed on Zabasearch is public information. Zabasearch is also just a search engine and not a database. Trying to contact them to get your information taken off is usless, because they do not store your data they simply search other sites databases for public information.

    Wrong accusation
The scammer/whoever is calling based on #s from websites such as monster.com, but monster.com or other websites aren't selling them.  Those guys are searching public domains (such as monster, personal websites, etc) for information, and that's how they got your number.

I got several "inquiries" for an item that i posted on facebook, wanting to know my name, address, bank account #, and phone # so that he could send me a check for the item.  Needless to say he's phishing for my information.  Don't start blaming/posting personal information, such as Lillian's information unless you really know what's going on.

    SAY "HEY" JayJay 21!
VERRRRRY curious that this reportage was sequestered in an inside page (Business Section) of the Boston Globe about, I believe, January of this year.  Guess who's the ExtraCozy Online Job-a-Palooza HQ'd in the western exurbs of BeanTown?  Could it be a MONSTERosity.com?
Jeez Louise!  So the batting order of oopsters-releasing-the-DATA BREACH-truth-as-slowly-as-plate-tectonics can be understood for those of us in greater Red Sox Nation, would it be TJX/ShopOn!arshalls, then Monster.com, then Hannaford-FortheloveofFooooodie$?  Any others?

Because no sane person would do telemarketing from a listed number and not block it?  And most insane ones wouldn't either?  Because that's a very common MO for telemarketers that don't intend to comply with the law, spoofing someone else's return call number so they can get through your 'do not accept unknown callers' without actually giving you any information?

Please.  Think for just a second before you get some innocent people in trouble.  I know people want to fight back, and so when they see a target they hit it.  But beating up on innocent people may be satisfying, but it sure isn't doing you any good.

Have you actually spoken to person calling? If so, is it someone from  Explore Online Degrees or do they say they are calling regarding "online education?"  These people have been harrassing me almost daily for the last few months.  There've been a few days when I logged as many as 26 calls, most of them 5-10 minutes apart.  I've asked, then TOLD them, in no uncertain terms that they were to remove my name and number from their calling list, to no avail.

I have NOT received calls from this particular number but it DOES look familiar and I may have had calls from them in the past.  515 numbers are getting popular as far as numbers I no longer answer.

It's good to know that Monster and Careerbuilder seem to be the catalyst for my phone number getting on these scammer/telemarketer lists.  I will be removing my phone numbers from Careerbuilder in about 5 minutes.  If a prospective employer needs it that bad, they can send me an e-mail, and if they get through Gmail's spam filter, I might call them.

Guys, you are barking up the wrong tree trying to 'trace' these numbers.  I run a voip network and having setup the equipment, I can tell you that in 3 minutes I could set down and setup a VOIP phone to have ANY number that I wanted to show up on your Caller ID box.  This company has obviously just used a random number when they configured their VOIP phones.

Want to see something really wierd, I can setup my phone to have YOUR phone number show up on the Caller ID box and then call you.  "Hey, wait a minute, how am I calling myself?"  Easy, you aren't, someone else is.

If you would like to post information about something that you feel is important, you should do it with your real name.  Otherwise, you should be responsible about what you post because you truly do not know  what you are talking about.  As I've stated in many posts previously, our company is not involved in selling or spoofing of phone numbers.  Any person with a lack of regard for the law can spoof any phone number including yours.

If I were the one calling you, I wouldn't be on this message board.  You need to contact law enforcement instead of posting anonymous messages about something you do not understand.  Kha
