Yep got the call as well.  They actually left an urgent message on my HOME answering machine about a client that needs to meet tomorrow!  For the heck of it I called the number Bruce left just out of curiosity and yes there must have been hundred of them in the room from the chatter.  When I asked him how he got my name and number he promptly and proudly told me "from Google" and the client was located "about" 28 miles away.  I told him no thank you before getting the speech about fees thank goodness.

I received a call from from Goodaccountants.com. I think she called me from Floral park NY. She asked me $5,000 for 6 months trial period. I found they are scam and ripping off accountants.

Can we call you about this article? We are talking to this company now and would like to know if you made enough money that exceeded your investment? We would love to discuss the client you retained. Did you make enough fee to equal or exceed what you paid Goodaccountants.com?

Don't expect a reply Jan, this forum does not send out notices of reply's to folks, not even if your registered.  Make you sure you take into your considerations that most threads or BBB reports are loaded and baited with Shill posts to make the business look good. I'm flagging this thread for admins to take a closer look at some of the happy camper posts - same IP is alway's going to give that away and the ones who shill usually get nice red shiny busted or suspect stamps.

I signed up with big promises of great clients.  They took my money and keep asking for more.  But no clients.  I am a professional accountant with many years of experience and they offered me a part time bookkeeping client for $20,000.00

They keep asking fop more money.

I just received a call from these folks. They gave me a good song and dance about that they had a condo association that needed an accountant and they we through the whole story and then they want me to sign up for a six month membership for $5,000.  $5,000 before I even go out an interview for the job? I smell scam written all over it.

My call may have been for the same "client". The HOA has a CPA who does the annual audit, and they need another CPA to do the monthly bookkeeping. I had signed up with Goodaccountants 5 years ago for $5,000, with virtually no success....just bad small leads.

I might have been interested with this lead, EXCEPT they wanted another $20,000 for the lead.....NOT the client, just the lead.

I would love to join you.  Send your complaints to the Attorney General's Office.  They said they would not be able to help me unless more people complained.  I urge anyone who has been scammed by this disgusting organization to notify the Attorney General' s Office!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call for Good Accountants with a client in need of bookkeeping services. Claimed 18K yearly to start billing. Then wanted me to have meeting with client. But first let me explain... there is a 5k up front fee!!
Felt this was a scam and declined.
The number I received call from was 516-325-1688 Bruce Kobloth.

Received call form Bruce too . promising a Doctor client who is looking for 16hrs a week and is paying $60/hr. That is almost 50,000 in billing and all they needed was 5,000 before i met the apparent client. when the deal is too good thing twice!!! I declined the offer!!

Got a similar call stating client would like to meet urgently early next week, are you available???  They sounded in a rush to sign me up, seems like a scam I am glad I got this forum.

This place is a total SCAM... They took $5,000 and did nothing and it's now six months down the road. Stay clear of this place.

Which state of the Attorney General's office should I notify to? NY? I encourage all the CPAs who paid Goodaccountants.com but didn't get the clients do so.

I worked for this company.  I feel horrible because I believed in them, I left after finding out what they were doing. They are a joke and you will not get your money back most likely. They sometimes were desperately looking for clients and it's sad.
