got a call from 516-453-6886. How many guys with a heavy Indian accent do you know named Dan from Microsoft? I mocked his accent and told him I was Rachel from Apple and challenged him to a duel behind the local Applebee's. He got very confused. It was awesome. Making him hang up on me? I give myself points.  FOR SIRI!!!!

Two calls this week from these guys.  My computer must really be infected.  Wait a minute...how would they know.

Repeated calls from 516-453-6886

Just got a call from this number with no message, so I'd guess it's another scammer. Damn it, man. It was bad enough with the Rachel calls. Now I have to deal with the Microsoft ones, too?

There's one thing that's been bothering me, though. Why DON'T they remove your number when you ask them to or when it's otherwise obvious that you're onto them? Wouldn't that save them from wasting time on people who are clearly too smart for their scam? I mean, someone not playing ball once or twice, I could kinda understand. But if you have someone who has repeatedly screwed with you or asked to be removed from your list over the course of seven calls or so, isn't that just costing you time and money? I don't get the logic.

I don't know if these people want to lend me money as a business loan or fix my computer.  Like many other states these calls from New York are all scams.  I am impressed at they are offering all this expertise and can't even spell or speak english.

I am getting too many calls from this number at my business a day.  I asked that the person not call back and they said they would call back.

I got the call, the girl said was looking for Miss Barbara. I told is not any Miss Barbara here & don't call again.  The voice wasn't clear & looks it was coming from fare way.    

Had a phone call from 516-453-6886 and the person on the other end stated that she was calling on behalf of Vonage.

She then proceeded to ask me how much I pay per month on the bill to which I played dumb and told her that I did not know since I am not the name on the account; she then hung up the phone call.

Called 1/23 2:04 P.M.  Caller id says Manhasset, NY.  We let it go to voice mail.  The number was 516-453-6886

calls 4-5 times a day. this time said they wanted to help us save on our electric bill. that my husband qualifies. what are these people trying to do?

Just got a call from this number (2:55pm ET), caller ID said 'JGV'. They didn't leave a message so it's obviously not important....

David Williams from financial claim legal department keeps calling my old and new jobs repeatedly throughout the day after I heard from both my old and new job I called him and he said I owed $800 dollars because of getting a payday loan from USA advance which never had an advance from that company!! I told him I didn't and he's not scamming me out of $800 and to stop calling my employers and hung up.Then immediately after he called my cell back I didn't answer and he left me a nasty message saying that if I don't call him back in 5 minutes he was going to call my employer and that I can deal with what happens from my employer after.these people are trying to harass people so much so that they will pay them to get them to leave them alone this is crazy and they need to be stopped!!!!!

These people are such scammers! Once they have your information, they ceaselessly harass and call everyone from employers to family members, trying to scare someone with their fake American accents or, not even bothering to hide their accents.  Just forward to Homeland Security, every single number they call from.

I recieved a call from is number. They did not leave a message. When I called them back I only recieved a prerecorded message with instruction on what to do next. I left a message for them, told them I was going to hand over this number to the FBI Fraud line. I also told them if it was legitimate business then they would have left a message. Microsoft will usually send an email to follow up on the call or they too would leave a message for the person they are calling and the nature of the call. I signed up for e do not call list but apparently it doesn't work as I am getting all kinds of calls from people I have no idea who they are and what they want. One such number is 10000000. For obvious reason you can't call this number back.

As long as people keep answering, these parasites will keep calling.  Ignore, block and report.  That is our only defence against this type of harassment.

Had a call from them and at the time I had company over I pick up the phone and say hello just as they say helo sir back I simply said flat out the word 'scam' and hung up the phone without any hesitation

Call from this number. Did not pick up, hit reject.  Left message that they were Vindows Technical. Right. Called back on my throwaway phone.  Disconnected.

Got a call from a guy who said that I signed up for a loan fro $10,000 dollars. I never signed up for no loan, especially for that amount!! I told him to remove my number from his systems. BLOCKED!!!
