Called and left no message similar to a few recent calls.

guy called saying he was calling from Vonage. I hung up.

CID was JGV.  Woman asking for my husband regarding a survey.  Maybe that's how they are getting around my call blocker.

This number keeps calling repeatedly  don't know who it is don't  leave a message and its getting annoying .

Calls several times a day. Manhasset NY. If I pick up no response. Reverse lookup states Airus Landline in Nassau, NY. Annoying.

Call came in just with initials on caller ID, "JSV" and the #.  I didn't answer but attempted to call back and reached an automatic message saying the # was not a working one.  They are persistent however.  I have had lots of calls from that # that I don't answer.

Got this call this morning on my cell phone (I didn't answer) and then again on our office phone. When she asked for owner by name, I explained the owner was unavailable. She then states she'll call back later. So tired of these calls.

516-453-6886:...Window's Support Group, Cyber Crime. A real stupid moron of a person with a thick Indian accent called to tell me my windows computer was corrupt. I have had calls like this in the past and I just love screwing with them and waste their time.
I told the idiot I had 5 computers, and asked which one is corrupt...the moron said turn on any of the computers because they are all infected. I agreed and said I was turning on a  computer. I didn't turn it on, but in fact I was sitting on the couch looking at my computer screwing with this slime ball.
I just kept wasting his time by asking stupid questions why my computer is acting the way it is, black screen then blinking on and off, Actuality there is nothing wrong with my computer.
So I told him I would call my IT person that handles the computers in our office, they suggested I do so, then I said the IT person just came in my office to look at my computer, actually it was my wife. The gutter licking moron then asked to speak to my IT person. So I muffled the phone and let them hang on for a while. I told him my IT person doesn't want to talk to you, they kept insisting to talk to them. I said No they don't want to talk to you and they said they would take care of the problem. They insisted it was over his head and needed to talk to my IT person.
As this rat infested, sewer living, scum sucking slime ball kept insisting to talk to my IT person, I put them on hold again and eventually hung up on them....Well I got them for about 10 minutes of their time.
Had enough fun, I was getting board. Now to report them, like it will do any good, and block the number.
If they call again on another number, ill just do the same, screw with them and waste these morons time. Heaven forbid if anyone falls for this %%$#$%&^ bull.

Landlady's caller ID gave only the number. WhitePages.com lookup came back with a warning: "Heavy spam activity suspected."

Received a call tonight from a middle-east accented fellow who insisted he was from Microsoft, and told me that hackers were damaging my computer.  He wanted me to go to my computer and log on, presumably so he could walk me through the steps necessary to keep the hackers at bay.  Right!  Needless to say I did not, although he was pretty insistent,, mentioning several times how he was from Microsoft, and "just wanted to help me protect me and my computer from the hackers!"
Don't fall for this scam - DO NOT go along with these cons!

Hangup call

We received a call reporting an activity on our computer. They asked for all types of info and when it was not given we finally hung up on them. They called back cursing and said all of our accounts were now in jeopardy.

This number is currently being used by Pakistani or Indian scammers identifying themselves as from a Microsoft security monitoring station. Do NOT fall for it. There is no such organization. They simply want to access your computer, plant a virus, then charge you for removing it. They become quite foul when they realize you are on to their scam.

If everyone in the US would simply learn to say NO to any telephone solicitation, whether to buy something or donate to an unknown organization, these scams would disappear and we would have our quiet back.

No message.  They called and hung up.

I just got a call from this New York area code number. My caller ID said "Unavailable." My ID App showed "Suspected Spam." No message was left. I am on both State and National "Do Not Call" Lists. After reading others' entries here, I have blocked all future calls from this number. THANKS, 800Notes!
