They call and don't hang up or disconnect for hours. My husband has a Pace Maker which is connected to a Merlin Tranmitter. The line is to be available to use all night so if anything goes wrong with Pace Maker while sleeping. This needs be stopped Now.

Yeah this number called and caller ID said Doctor's Network.  Had those calls from the Vnumbers too in the past few days.  Getting so tired of having to block once more.  I'm running out of spots for blocking.  What with having to spend over an hour, multiple times, on trying to get it through someone's thick skull that I am NOT the person they are looking for, name not even close to mine, and then the threats of being served for something and having no clue what they are even talking about,  to fake IRS scams, to numbers not in service and people wanting to give me something I have no need of....I'm getting REAL disgusted for even having a phone anymore.  The number of blocks from my phone service provider is full and just about full from the actual phone I use.  Guess I'll have to invest on a more advanced and expensive phone blocker.  :(

Just got a call from this number. Caller ID shows "Not In Use", I picked up the phone and immediately hung up. I used to let these spam calls go to voicemail, but the ringing phone irritates me so I pick up and immediately hang up.

Most numbers are sold to the scammers by places you go to. Like auto part stores or hair cut places and so on. They get 5 to 25 cents for each name and number.

Called while I was away.  Came up on ID box as "Not In Use".  No message.  I am really getting pissed at these calls.  I have so many security things on my phone, now I will have to get a blocker.  I've had it.

I want these scammer calls to stop!! Get more and more each day!!!

Caller ID said "Doctor's Network" -  answered out of curiosity...no one there.

Another in a long line of V# caller id's.  I do not answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize.  I have all the numbers blocked on my phone sans a ring.  I do not even hear the call .  I do see it on my personal caller id.The DNC registry is a "joke".  They do not do anything about these calls and to be honest I think scammers and telemarketers use it to garner telephone numbers.

Call from "Not in use" # 5/26/15 11:07 a.m.  No message left.  If I don't recognize # and message is not left, I assume telemarketer.

Called but left no msg.   Didn't recognize number. Assumed its a scam.  Blocked it

Received 2 calls from this number yesterday.  On the first the CID said V52612181800044, on the second it said Doctors Network.  Name doesn't matter, number still blocked.

It'll work if you push the buttons to get a human. These numbers usually give you an option to talk to someone (otherwise, they wouldn't be able to try for your information). Once you get someone on the line, you can give the person who answers a high-pitched musical salute, and hang up.

They are spoofing the phone number and unfortunately this is legal.  Which is why you get a Not in Use.

Caller ID said Doctors Network and kept calling all day.  I did not answer.  How can these people get a way with this form of harrassment?

My Ooma box captured it as from "DOCTORS NETWORK" so I am adding it to my Ooma blacklist

Whoever the caller is, the phone number is spoofed.  Not a working number.
