I was scrolling down to see if anyone else has received calls from this number. I called and got the operator for the state, and told me I would have to wait until they called me back. Now you would have thought with the number they could have recognized. Since when does the state of MI use phony numbers. I wonder if they trace your call, and it's a scam artist.

Got the call this morning. Picked it up on the third ring. Said "hello" no response after about 4 seconds, hung up. I don't know who it was from.

The call I got from this number was a telemarketing robocaller selling a home security system. So much for the DNC list.  I've received more calls once I signed up than before I signed up. Go figure!!

This is a legitimate State of Michigan "OUTGOING ONLY" line.

Left message to call back. This is a real SOM number as I have business with the caller.

I received a call from this number, which is from the State of Michigan general phone system. The actual caller would most likely have a different number, but the system shows the main number on caller ID. In my case, the caller was a Medicaid worker returning a call.

I don't know who they really are but told me they were from consumers im so sick if people calling under false pretence

Easy way to solve that if you can do it. Let your phone ring. Impossible for either side to hear anything but a ringing phone. This eventually stops pests from wanting to call you while getting on their nerves.

Jonathan from the "Department of the Treasury" left a message saying I needed to pay my account to avoid penalties and interest.  I don't owe the Treasury anything (always get a tax refund) and paid my property taxes 2 weeks ago.  Treasury does not call you - only contact is by mail.  Left a number to call, but couldn't understand Jonathan.  Sounded like he was getting tired.

A Katherine Berren (sp?) claiming to be from the attorney general's office just called the company I'm gatekeeper for and asked for the VP by name. As he is not in the office today I offered his voice mail and she accepted. The CID says ST OF MI DMB IT.

This number belongs to the State of Michigan, a department related to the B.A.R.D. program for blind & reading disabled.  I had called them to request certain tape recorded materials and they called me back from the number. Not spam, folks. Very helpful people for those such as myself (blind in one eye).

If you know to whom the number belongs why did you come to a phone number look-up site?

I have a up coming unemployment hearing I received a phone from this number stating that the company withdrew their appeal  about my unemployment denial  and the original decision still stand.  I said this don't make sense.  I made appeal not them.  she was rude and said I cant make it any clearer  it's black and white. I kept asking and she got more upset.  I requested the hearing not them if they dont  show it goes to my favor.  she says no the original standing still stands. called several friends of mine everyone agrees don't make sense.  so this happened on Thursday I called the hearing courthouse on Monday and they said  no your hearing is still schedule I asked them to look up my name just in case there was another hearing they said no  I believe the company has some inside connections.  I will not post name of the company. my hearing jan 25 2018  At this time waiting on this to find out more info

It’s a generic outbound line that all state of Michigan departments have access to. In your case it was BARD who came through it, but not in all cases.

Just received a call from the number a guy left a message that you can’t understand. He mumbled fo 10 seconds. I called back and got the message that the number was a non working state of Michigan number.

I called the state of Michigan about a matter that greatly concerns me and left a proper message with my return phone number, however, you will not get the same from the State of Michigan offices.  They used the generic number to call, left no message, and when I called the number listed on caller ID of 517-335-0002, all I got was the recorded message that it is a non-working number.  This is just par for the course for the State of Michigan.  They made a brilliant failure with the City of Flint's water, showed they had little value for the life of it's citizens, and continue to repeat their callousness with telephone numbers that the citizen cannot talk to anyone.

No answer when i picked up the phone. Same happened when i received a call earlier from an att number. I believe that people have hacked into these numbers and are making scamming calls. No proof though.

I was calling the DHS and it said that this number was my number and they could call me back at it or I could type in another call back number?? How and why would the department if human services think this is my number?? It said that “ we see u are calling from (517)335-0002???  WT....??

I got a phone call from this number and I called it back and it said State of Michigan and it gave me another number to call back and when I called the other number they did not know why I received the call or from whom BC they stated it was an outgoing number and they could not trace it!!!
