Your caller has nothing to do with the government.  She is a thief.  She wants to trick you into paying a debt you don't owe.  


She will call again.  Hang up on her.  Or cuss at her.  Or call her nasty names.  Or say nasty thing about her parents.  Have fun with it.

she has not called back.i told her that if she calls me again.i will report to the immgration andshe will be deported back to india.so far no more calls.i called the 518-712-9390.called them and got a guy name clayton.he asked me why I didnt give them the money.i told him I called the sheriffs,police,dectives,most of the fbi.now when I call.they dont answer the phone.obama should send their [***] back to india.this s not fun its sad and mean for any people who said that I can make it go away if you come to us and sleep with me.i cant  undeestand why they are scaming us.

I wish someone would call them like they do to us.threaten them like they do to us.this why they need to go back to india and not be allowed to call the united states all.obama should be looking into this.i even got them on video taped.saying what my opitions are.my boyfriend is so pissed off.he is looking into looking  for these people.i love my boyfriend.i just dont want to see him go to jail.for these scam artist.

The caller is probably already in India.  

The US government does not have arrest power in India or any other foreign country.  US law enforcement cannot stop these people without coooperation from their governemt.

What do you want Obama to do? If you will read the information provided in the previous posts, you will discover that neither he or the government has any jurisdiction to prosecute this organized crime ring operating out of India. All the FTC has been able to do (so far), is follow the money and track down and prosecute Kirit Patel, who was caught funneling money extorted from scam victims from his US bank account to these criminals in India. The key to shutting down this extortion scam will be to follow the money, locate and prosecute all of those in the US doing the same-- and cutting off their lifeline.

i wish we can do something about this.i hate to go and change my phone number.just because of the scam arist.i am not going to pay them money or sleep with them.for no dumb loan.i supposly have gotten when i didnt even get it or applied for it.

These stupid [***] have called my work and my cell phone over 50 times since Monday so when they were finally stupid enough to call my number with the 518 number instead of various other VOIP numbers i have now been quite enjoying calling them over and over and over and over again. They are getting quiite pissed. sometimes i say nothing, sometimes i tell them they are being investigatied. sometimes i tell them i'm going to put a huge [***] in their ass. its hilarious he is getting VERY angry. LOL

Everyone should do the same thing I am doing dial *67 so they cannot trace the call - 518-712-9390 call every minute and either say something, threaten them, or just hang up!! Its awesome!

You have probably read the posts here and realize that this is a scam. These are froreigners trying to extort money by using scare tactics & B.S. Because they are outside US jurisdiction there is not a lot that can currently be done. Call blockers are a short term help but these frauds change their spoofed numbers so often it's full time job keeping up with them. A Call blocker is also not very practical at a work place. About the best strategy that I've found when dealing with the Indian vermin is to simply convince them that you know who and what they are. Tell them that you know they are nothing but low-life, greasy scum-bags and that you and your Boss are not the slightest bit intimidated by their infantile babble. Make them very aware that they will not now or ever receive a single rupee from you. Laugh at their bluster and tell him that you hope he has a stroke. Which the worm very well might have. If it weren't for the naive people that are occasionally fooled by these wretches, these Indian frauds would be completely laughable.  
As frauds go the Indian scammer is not the most pathetic. While he may not be in the Americans league, he is at least more talented than the Jamaicans and is certainly more capable than the idiotic Dominicans. Dirt-bag frauds come in all shapes, colors and sizes. They all have the same things in common. They are the lowest of the low and they lack the conscience to care. They have little or no self-esteem and huge inferiority complexes. They are such pitiful failures in real life that they have no other ways to support themselves. They can be failed lawyers or ex-cons. Drug addicts or alcoholics. Sometimes you'll hear from one who says he's just trying to put himself through school. That's the truly deluded one. He or she is evidently unaware of what a fraud conviction will do to his future. A degree is not of much use when it is accompanied by a felony conviction. They've all been getting away with this crap for a long time. The internet and technology has spread their filth. It will also be their undoing.

My brother in law and I both got a call from  518-712-9390. The indian jerk on the other end wouldnt give me any information and even called my brother in laws job! BEWARE! These guys are nuts and trying screw you over! They are a huge scam and cannot legally do anything to you.

This so called company (scam artist) is very rude. Was told a debt was owed from 2010. When asked for proof, they could not provide that it was valid. They said they were a legal department that represented several companies but could not validate that the debt was accurate.

Called my place of employment repeatedly that the phones had to be disconnected so others could get their jobs done.

These people have a thick Indian accent and go by these names; Robert Jacobs, Curtis Wilson or even Casper. When you request a supervisor it sounds like you are talking to the same person. If you ask for a direct line you are given one number 518-712-9390. The company they say they are representing isn't even valid. When you call back they answer the phone by saying Investigations. They say they are calling from NY.

Recently filed a police report and will have the police trace the number. These are the most rude, disrespectful and unprofessional individuals.

If someone has received the same type of call and has had success to get them to stop calling and being harassing, please post how that worked.

Adrianne Walker (Indian man w/ heavy accent) called from the legal department of "Cash Advance" claiming I owed him money.  I called the police after receiving about 20 calls or more a day between the office and cell phone.  He was threatening and just nasty.  I asked him to provide paperwork w/ any signed documentation to my home address so I can give it to my attorney.  The calls have slowed down since I filed the complain with the Sheriff's office and with Verizon; however, they call from Unknown, Restricted and Out of Area numbers as well.
