I just got off the line with the idiots at RBC.  I can't believe those [***] gets a low-life Famtel company to try to sell me crap that I never asked for.  Famtel called me from 10 different numbers, just about every province.  Thats what type of scum bags they are. 514-225-1398, 705-797-2494, 514-225-7625, 204-289-0964, 403-456-6015, 519-266-6839, 902-442-7660, 604-282-7534, 519-266-6802, 705-797-2495..Needless to say, I CANCELLED ALL MY ACCOUNTS AND YOU SHOULD TO.  If these [***] think bothering people this way is acceptable, just goes to show you RBC has no respect for their customers..

It would take more than some annoying telemarketer calls (which I never answer anyway) to make me go through the hassle of cancelling all my bank accounts and associated credit card.  So I call BS on that.

What I did instead is call RBC and asked to opt-out of telemarketer calls.  They have a process for that and after a few security  questions, they have added me to their internal do not call list.  I should have done that ages ago.

Just got a call from this number [u]on my work phone[/u] and I really don't appreciate that.
No message left.

received 48 calls so far today alone from these guys even though i have blocked the number. yes i do bank with royal bank, may have to close my accounts as my phone is   basically unusable as it is always tied up. i already have balance insurance, which in itself a scam as when you need it there is always a reason you dont qualify-they collect but will not pay out.
