This number,  5198940084. Is a number for the Chronicle Herald they called me 3 times now and twice while I was in the hospital recovering from surgery on my leg. And my number is private! Yes; the number is on an auto-dial system. They moved there call center to Kitchener - Waterloo. The system will dial your # and ring for a pre~set time. When you finally make it to the ph and pick up; The  'auto-dialer' then immediately  sends you to an agent that is supposed to be avaiable to say "Hi!". Problem is that they don't have enough staff? So your call is dropped! But if you can remember a time just a short while ago and you took an offer from someone who visited you or if you signed something to get a free gift... this is why your getting calls now. Just try not yell and tell them... if you can, to remove you  from there calling list; They are responsible by law to remove you within 45-60 days. But they don't tell you that you may still get calls after you asked to be removed.

I have received several calls from this #, but when I call it back I get call right and a message says to leave my name and # and they will get back to me. I imagine they may be a tracking group who sells info to other telemarketing companies. I wish there was a way to stop this type of call. I will try complaining to Bell and see what they say.

Started receiving calls from this number a while ago, they usually call at least twice a day. Added to my call screen list.

I have been getting 30 calls a week from this number and it is getting very annoying..........STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!

telemarketing for a newspaper... always a hang up call they call at least once a day , it's really a bother ,     if you call 519-894-4566 you can actually get through to a person and ask to be removed from their calling list, i just did it it took about 30 seconds. so hopefully these harrasing phone calls stop.

CRTC's website. You can file a complaint with them about the harassing telemarketing scumbags which will most likely put an end to their [***].

If you receive the marketing calls from 1-519-894-0084 do the following:
Dial 1-519-894-4566 ext. 4 and ask  your number to be removed.
I did this as was previously suggested in this thread. The operator the calls should stop within 72 hours.

just got a call from this call right firm, when I said I wasn't interested after the 6th call in 24 hours the jerk said "how the hell do you know, you don't know what the [***] we're selling" NICE! I'm interested now! So I called the president of the company, left him an angry message, sent him an angry email and called the floor manager and told him. Manager said he fire him.....yeah right probably got a promotion but they won't be calling me anymore.

So I tried that website but couldn't find where to complain, did you actually file a complaint?

Repeated calls from 1-519-894-0084.  And I mean repeated!  Please ask them to stop calling us. Thanks.

Calls come from this number, there's no response...then disconnect.  Whatever they're selling, I don't want.

I too, have been receiving these hang up calls. I called the other #519-894- 4566 and spoke to a supervisor who will be taking my # off their list. She said, it should stop within 72 hrs. Sure hope so as this cost me a long distance phone call. Sure hope you got yours taken care off. One writer spoke of joining Bell before all this started.... well so did I a few months back but canceled my service with them due to dropped calls ++++. They must have sold my #. Shame on them.

I got the call on Oct 8, 08, I googled the number and here I am. I called to have my number removed and it takes 48 hours for removal, I asked how she got my number and she said from the The Chronicle Herald (local newspaper company) ... but yet, I don't even subscribe to The Chronicle Herald.

"Callright Marketing Services" is correct. I actually live in Kitchener where they are located. Here's the kicker, though ...

I'm on the National Do Not Call List here in Canada. I call the CMS office and spoke with a supervisor and asked why I'm being solicited while still on the Do Not Call List. She proceed to explain that Newspaper Telemarketers are exempt form the DNC list! And what-A-Ya Know, it's true! It's buried on the government site used for DNC registration. Hard to find.

You have to call the company and ask to be taken off their list. Takes up to 72 hrs.
