Okay, much like everyone else, I've been getting calls from 519-894-0084 and it is always a hang up or dead air on the line.  When I called the suggested number (519-894-4566), it now appears that there is never a supervisor on duty, and when you press 2 to get to the extension that calls are being forwarded you get the same run around.  From their website (www.callrightmarketing.com) they sell newspapers, conduct surveys...all of those things we seem to hate answering the phone for.  Glad that some of you have been got some relief from this...I guess I will just have to keep trying to get them to leave me along...and harder yet, try to stay nice about.  In all fairness the person on the other end of the line is just trying to do honest work to pay their bills like the rest of us.

I have received calls from this number for the last few weeks. They call about 3- 4 times a day and do not leave a message.. I have tried the number listed in the previous but I am unsuccessful in reaching anybody.  My number has been registered on the do not call directory

First, everybody should read what's here before posting.

On page one of these posts, there is a suggestion to call (519) 894-4566 and press for extension 4. I just did, and got one of the pleasant people. (I had already called and left a voicemail with clear instructions as directed, and emailed my local newspaper circulation office to get them on the case to have my name removed from the list at source.)

The pleasant person started to tell me that the CRTC gives them 31 days, and I said I did not want to wait 31 days for the twice-daily calls to stop. She said they would do it as soon as possible. We shall see. Thanks to all who have given info here.

Subsequent to my conversation with Callright Marketing Services, a previous voicemail directing no further calls, and several emails exchanged with the subscription office of my local newspaper, I have still received two calls today and two calls yesterday, including one at 8:30 pm.

In fact, I submitted four copies of the message, in addition to one submitted yesterday. If I receive a call tomorrow, I will submit 24 copies of the message. And so on. I ticked the "I am interested in: finding out more about NEWSPAPER / SUBSCRIPTION SALES" box. I provided an email address (Gmail) and demanded an acknowledgement.

My message:
"Yesterday I submitted a message regarding telemarketing calls. The day before that I spoke by telephone with your company regarding telemarketing calls. Last week I left a voicemail directing that telemarketing calls to me stop and I be removed from calling lists. Both yesterday and today I received two hang-up calls, the most recent today at 6:03 pm. The (local newspaper) assures me that instructions have been sent to stop telephoning me. STOP TELEPHONING ME. Stop telephoning me NOW. Do not EVER telephone me again. Your repeated telephone calls are disturbing to me and YOU WILL STOP THEM NOW. **ACKNOWLEDGE THIS MESSAGE** to the email address attached."

I claim no copyright in that message and offer it to anyone to whom it might be of use. ;)

YAHOO!! i am so glad i decided to look up who was calling me from this number, i read that i could call another number to have my number removed from the call list...thanks everyone

I just called them with extension 4 and a lady said they will remove my # but it "may take 31 days to get it removed". I don't know why they say 72 hours to some people and 31 days to others.  I think it's a last ditch attempt to get some people to buy their products which is so dumb.  grrrr that makes me mad!

He answered when I called and promised to take my number off their list.  I told him I'd call him every time his company called me.

Called the long distance # of 519-894-0084, and its a telemarketing # so just hang up nxt. X, or if U have caller ID, just dn't answer...

I have recieved numerous calls from this number. I answer and no one replies. I'm even on the national "do not call" list for tele-marketers.

Calls from this number do not leave a message or when answered have no one at the other end, then the dial tone after a few seconds. I called 519-894-4566 and left a message to remove my number from their call list.

Called today, the let it ring once or twice and then hang up. Usually not long enough to get through.

Two more options:

You can call the London Free Press directly (or paper of your area) and tell them that it's unethical for them to be contracting out their dirty work to slimeballs like CMS.  I just did that and the guy said he'd pass it on to his superiors.

calls repeatedly in the evenings - no one is there when we answer.

Harassment to extreme limits,,,,, although I keep asking not to be called again the guy on the other ends yells back that he's going to call back and again we get the calls - a nerve wrecking nuisance....which should stop immediately,,, calling multiple times in the same day and harassing us to extremity

Got a call today from this number at 6:09p. Wanted to answer and give them a piece of my mind (4 calls since Mar 12) but my wife insisted I not waste my time and not to answer. I finally added the number to my call block.

Based on other comments here, it appears they would fall under the Canadian DNCL so I think I will file a complaint. They won't bug me again but it p'sses me off that I have to pay for a call block service and waste my time with these intrusions(fortunately this is not an 8xx number-Bell's call block does not even block a lot of 8xx numbers-Bell says it is only for blocking residential numbers-have you heard of anything more ridiculous than that?-no doubt Bell protecting their business customers-LOL).

calling x3/day and then they say nothing. when I try to call back, there is only a message box... which is full!
