I got 2 calls from this number with a live person. Nasty [***] wouldn't shut up. Spoke English(surprise, surprise).. Caller ID says Alarm Ca. She said they would be in my area with 25 free home alarms. I told her I didn't own my own home she hung up.  I'm on DNC list which is not good .. So many calls get thru.

Didn't answer, but  the # left a msg anyway.  Then when it hung up, it went to some quirky place where it left my phone beeping (never heard it beep like that before).  I had to manually hang up the phone to stop the beeping.  CID read: L7 Srvc call.

I just got a call from this number and it is the second one today. I look at the caller ID when it rings. If you don't recognize the number, then don't answer it.  Answering it would only tell them it is a working number and then they keep calling.   I have an answering machine and if it is someone who is calling for us and wants or needs to leave a message, then they can.  I will have the option of listening to the message and either respond or not.

Need to clarify my previous post.  If you get a call from this number (caller ID needed) and don't have an answering machine, DON'T ANSWER THE CALL.  That way they won't know for sure if it is a working number BUT, if you have an answering machine that picks up and verifies it is a working number, you can at least monitor who is calling and respond to those messages from people you do need/want to hear from.

CallerID says L2 SRVC CALL. No message.

Caller ID says "Alarms Co". They call and never leave message. Blocking.

4/4/2015.  Received yet another a call from 541-257-1573, with ID of "L7 SRVC CALL."  There was no message left on our voice mail.  We've received calls from this phone number and ID name several times in the past two weeks even though we are on the Do Not Call list.  Police should be taking action against this kind of harassing caller.

You say that the do not call registry is a joke. How many legitimate businesses have called you since you registered? For me, zero. The only unwanted calls I get are from charities, politicians, or illegal calls.If I get a number that calls several times, I simply block the number.

You may not want to block all calls when the ID is Private.  Doctor's offices often use that designation because of the privacy laws.

No response when you answer.

The number shows, but the name of the caller is unknown.

541-257-1573 has called 4-5 times a day.  The number id says a California Alarm Company.  After several weeks of not answering the calls, I did answer with the intention of telling them to stop, I'm on the no call list, I'd report them to the FCC if they called again, whatever!  Of course, the call was automated and actually didn't finish their end before hanging up.  What I did get was that this is a security alarm company that will be in my area soon to give GE home alarms "absolutely free."  Guess I'll just have to put up with not answering the multiple calls a day from this number.

They call once a day but hang up.  After a while it gets old.

They just keep calling.  I have no idea about.  I pick up the phone and they don't respond.

Exactly!  I couldn't have said it better myself.

Caller ID showed "Alarms Comp" When I picked up the phone there was silence for a while, then a recorded woman's voice stating that they would be in my area and are giving away several GE Wireless Home Security Systems. When I started talking, the call was disconnected. The number traced back to CallerID4U Landline. Just another scam.
