I have not talked to ex brother-in-law for 10 years unless maybe in passing. I got on the phone with them and they wanted to know if I could contact him immediately. Uhmm no. Don't even know where he lives least alone his phone #. very bizarre.

I get calls from those same numbers daily, same messages.  I have the numbers blocked so my phone no longer rings but they are still able to leave a message.  Definitely harassment!

T & H Financial (AKA  Accufile, AKA On Track, AKA Gawd knows how many phone business names the use) strikes again.  Don't forget the infamous Amy O'Neil.

Ignore and block these calls.  DO NOT RETURN THE CALLS.   Long history of debt scamming on 800notes.

CWG40 is correct.  The voice of Jamie Alexander is also the voice of Amy O'Neil.  The script is the same.  Ignore these bogus calls.

Rec'd a call on yesterday to my home phone stating a case number and something about coming to my residence.  I accidentially deleted the message this morning.  However, I called the number today from my office.   A male answered stating - T & H Financial.  He asked if I received a call to which I responded yes and he asked for my home phone number.  When I gave it to him, he told me to disregard the call as they called the wrong phone number on yesterday.  Go figure.............

CWG40 has posted the information you need to send them either a cease and desist letter or a debt validation letter by certified, return receipt US mail.  Also, read the following carefully and follow up with complaints at the links provided:
This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.  Now why would a “process server” want to do you, a stranger, a favor, and at the same time not get paid to deliver the papers?

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

If they call you and refuse to stop calling, after you ask hem to,  just answer them one fine day and say something like this:

"Excuse me, T & H Financial (AKA  Accufile, AKA On Track, AKA Amy O'Neil AKA Jamie Alexander and Gawd knows how many  business names you're using), I know this is a scam.  And your scam is  splattered all over the internet.  You can stop calling me now because you aren't getting one thin dime out of me !"

Might shut 'em up for a while.

They just called my cell and scared the living crap out of me.  I was deep in thought, working on a project for a client... they completely destroyed my concentration.

I wish I could just ignore numbers I don't know but I don't know which number a client could be calling from.  Now, how do I get back the time this phone call cost me??  Oh yeah.... I can't.

If someone is thinking of a lawsuit, please count me in..

wow I received the same message. "Hi this is Allen from On Track Filing regarding file #CL....."
He claimed to be calling regarding important documents that will be served at my residence within 2 days.
I called them back as it was very disturbing. They then transferred me to the "legal dept" I spoke to someone claiming to represent  a creditor that I had 8 years ago and satisfied. The creditor is NO LONGER on my report. I think this is a scamming company that buys old debts  and collection accounts. I told them I  have uprooif the debt was satisfied and will fax the info...... Help guys what do you think ?

got a call from this # at 12:04 pm Texas time on my cell phone and had about the same response as all the other posts on here, don't remember the name that the man gave but he was adamant that I call 800-399-9704 with case # --------, he couldn't tell me what this was about but he would let them know that he had delivered the message to me. When I questioned him more he couldn't tell me anything except that I needed to call the 800#. I told him I thought he was a scam but he told me he was "legit" so I googled the # and found out what I suspected all along.  Will show that # as SCAM and put it to a specific ring so as never have to bother answering it again
