You can go to www.calpyc.com and www.socalpyc and see the many great programs that California Police Youth Charities are doing for the benefit of kids in California. Jealousy is a very deviant emotion. Call me if you get a spine!

Hang-up calls.  Do not give to California PAL.  Look up their numbers at www.charitynavigator.com  An internet search shows news articles going back 10 years about how inefficient they are.  For that matter, never give when anybody calls you on the phone.  Very little goes to help the actual charitable work.  Give to them and most of you money goes straight down the toilet.

I've donated several times to this CAL PAL organization but not bcuz I wanted to. They normally pressure you into it and my last phone call they asked me to donate $10 and I said to them with the way economic times are I'll do what I can but I haven't be able to give them that $10 and they call over and over and over. I honestly don't think they're a non-profit organization at all. I think these are a bunch of crooked cops or workers trying to bum off of innocent citizens. Their calls are borderline to harassment and I want it to Stop not just for me but for Everyone cuz this is totally wrong in many ways. Non Profit organizations dont go begging for donations !

The only way to make it stop is to change your number. CAL PAL is a piece of [***] organization.

I called them and asked to be removed from their calling list.  The woman that answered the phone said I would be removed right away.  We'll see if it works...

CALPAL IS a scam.  They have been calling daily for over 2 yrs and I've requested to be removed no less than 20 times, but they still keep calling.  I have reported them to the FTC and plan on filing a complaint with the CA AG's office as well.  Request your phone records for the CALPAL numbers and file a complaint with the FTC.  Only if enough people prusue this will there ever be any action.  

As for them being a charity, the stats below are incorrect.  Look at the available websites online for charity rankings.  CALPAL gives very little of the money they collect to the children. Most of the money goes to paying high salaries.  This is a joke and the CALPAL people posting this BS propaganda should be sent to GITMO as far as I'm concerned.  It's a disgrace that a charity does this sort of thing.

They are using another number as well 1-559 272 6467, calling at 9:00p. When they call and you answer they use your first name like you were pals or something..I ahve asked them to remove me from the list and they fail to do so.

CAL PAL is not a scam.....I have been a member since I was 12 and kids do really benefit from this program, the current telemarketing administration is located in manchester center if you got a problem and want to be cheap and not donate go talk to them and they will remove you from their calling list...

I received a call abround 7:30 at night. At first I could not hear anything so I told whoever was on the other end of line to call back. Two minutes later I receive a call saying "Hi" i say hi trying to realize if I can recognize callers voice, thinking it's my friend from Mexico and then he asks me if I speak Spanish, when I told him just a little I asked who it was, he tells me it's my boyfriend, I say "Boyfriend who?" knowing I for sure do not have one. I kept asking same question of who it was for about a minute until he hung up on me. When I called back that number immediately it anounced I cannot be connected. I really do not understand what are these people up to? I was stressed out for hours thinking it was my long distance friend whom I havent talked for months until I research the number and found out it could have been registered to Time Warner Telcom of California, some kind of scaming going on that they are trying to pull on people. Watch out so you don't get a call from non-exiting boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife!

I asked them to remove me from do not call list and they said they were exempt. At the end of the call they announced the call was recorded. I told them I didn't want to be recorded and did not authorize it. They ignored my request to speak w a supervisor and hung up on me
