Called to offer their services as a debt collection agency and would not take no for an answer.  Polite but very aggressive and hard to get rid of.

received call today also, same story, debt collection agency but said they were a law firm . polite as well but would not take no for an answer

Guy called. polite but very vague.  I got the impression he was calling to inquire about a Client, because he kept saying he was calling "to see if "they" had any charge off's write offs, or delinquent accounts in the last 2-3 years"

I put him on hold, came to trusty old 800 Notes, and then plopped him directly into voicemail

Martini - Hughes & Grossman Firm called me. Left no message. I returned call and nice enough gentleman answered but didn't recognize the names I gave him and then he put me into someone's voicemail.

The guy called me and dident even speak english

A gentleman called in to the company I work for. He was very rude and when I asked what his concern was so I knew where to direct his call he stated, "I realize answering the phones all day is a very difficult task. Let me simplify this for you so can understand." He was very vague and very aggressive.

This number kept callingto the company i work for. It was a man. He kept asking for e-mails and such. Very persistent.

telemarketer calling from FL left a long message entirely in Spanish.

They called and left message on my Magic Jack must have got the number off my webpage and that is the only place it's published and he new me by last name.

Hughes Martini, call center.  Said he was calling to become an approved vendor and that we should call them back to do this..ah....what??  Basically read a script and hung up after he delivered his "message".  Didn't even explain what the services were or what the company even does!  Yeah.  I'll call you right back.  lol

SCAMMERS - they are trying to intimidate you into paying for something that you dont owe. Tell them to take a hike and call the phone company and leave a complaint. Somehow, they have a list they are calling and harassing people. I can only imagine if my 82 year old mother got a call from these scam artists.

*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Martini Hughes & Grossman trying to collect a debt from another company that used to have my phone number. I've had my number for over fifteen years, so that should tell you what kind of "debt collectors" these are.

Scammers trying to con people into paying them for fake debts.

Received a call and voice message from them regarding a couple of alleged past due invoices for trying to become, in their words, a food vendor, party that called statedhis name as[ umm bernie mac at exstension 119 ] did not and will not call them back. They called from florida (the land of carnies and low life scammers) to my land line in the midwest.

This number left a message on my parents' answer machine for a business entity my father and I used to have, but dissolved several years ago. The message left this number and the contact name "Eddie."

I called back and the party's voice mail greeting had the name Eddie Selva (or maybe Zelva). i left him a message saying that the business he was looking for no longer exists and to please remove the number he called (and I repeated it) off of their calling list. We'll see if Eddie does this or if more calls come in.
