Yeah, right......I believe who you say you are.  Suuuure I do.    I'm the Gatekeeper here and have been for 20 YEARS!  I know the clients/vendors better than anyone.....even the owner.  YOU will never get thru here with your scam.  The owner appreciates not being bothered.  I got to waste the time of Lee at Martini, Hughes, & Grossman.

I got a call awhile back from someone claiming to be the BBB and saying that if we paid them $300 we could raise our rating to the next level.  We declined.  Same thing with Angie's List.  If you PAY you can be on their "approved" list.  We declined this also.

First:  I don't believe that.
Second:  If it's true, you should be FIRED for letting things get that bad.

This company will not stop calling, I have asked them to numerous times and they continue to do so. They call and ask for accounts receivable, then they hang up as soon as the person answers.

DoucheTool calls and says he "needs to be put in touch with Accounts Receivable"  I ask who is calling and he tells me (with an attitude) that he is "John with Martin..and some-other name and some other name, company"... (he says it as if i should be like "OH!!!!! WELL LET ME PUT YOU RIGHT THROUGH BECAUSE YOU MUST BE IMPORTANT IF THERE ARE SEVERAL NAMES IN YOUR COMPANY NAME..."

I ask what he is calling in regards to and he responds "to become an approved vendor..." (well DUH!)

so i ask if he is already a customer (as I am confused because he wont give a straight effing answer)

He says "noooo. i'm calling to introduce myself as a vendor" FOR FUX SAKE DUDE JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO SELL US!!!)

I respond with "and what type of services are you looking to do for us?"

FINALLY he answers with "we are looking to collect on old debts for you"

i tell him we have no need for this type of service.  He gets annoyed and says "well can i just talk to someone?"

No. No you can't. This is my job. to prevent stupid annoying calls for stuff we don't need.

I tell him i will put him into a voicemail and he can leave a message but that we are not interested in his debt collection services at all.

My cell phone number is not published anywhere!  A) theyhave no business calling my cell number   B) I don't owe anything  C) I don't answer the phone cell or land, unless I know the name or number ... otherwise they can leave a message.  And if I don't know them I would prefer not to receive a message at all

Just got a call from some guy who kept asking me on who's handling the financing. Stupid telemarketers really need to get a new script. I immediately told him that he recently just died and no one is. Then he basically said "I'm sorry but I don't wanna do business with you." lol I said "That's good." - Mission Complete!

they called today started telling me what they do, I politely said "We really don't have a need at this time but thank you for calling". He says "Oh no you can't disregard me like that" with attitude of course. I replied " Oh really" CLICK.
