Bruno at (800) 464-5446 said they only provide telecom services and calling cards, so it is one of their customers that is making the calls, not Digicom.

I was very happy to hear that there are 2 parties to sue instead of just one! :>)

Automotive warrenty scam, hung up when I tried to find out who they were, tried to call back and couldn't get through.  I wonder why our lawmakers allow this kind of scam on unsuspecting persons.  I am sure that there are people who fall for this crap and live to regret it, not having any recourse but this!!!!

They just called me again for the 6th day in a row, same 562 number. Also calling from an unavailable number. Just called back, and didn't get anything but a recording saying 'Thank you. You've been removed from our preferred customer calling list. Goodbye.'

My number isn't listed with Facebook or any other online service and I'm still getting called at least once a day.

I have received over 7 unsolicited calls from this number in the last week. I have filed a complaint with the FCC. Yesterday morning I called Digitcom and complained. The young man was apologetic and advised someone was using their system to make the calls. I advised he better solve the problem soon. He took my number and stated it would be placed on a "blocked" list and would not be called from their system.
Got a call again yesterday afternoon from the 562 area code number and stayed on the line to advise "Sherry" I had filed a complaint with the FCC. She hung up.

I've been getting calls from 562-289-8136, 614-453-6303, 281-520-3761, AND a restricted number. I'm on the do not call list but they keep calling. How annoying! I never answer, but I decided to google the numbers and I found all this info. Glad to know I'm not the only one...

I received a call from 562-289-8136 On 1/27 4:32P. This was the second time they called, I missed the first which happened last week. When I answered I heard the voice prompt say press 1 to be removed, or two for cust. serv. Being curious, I pressed two...what sounded like a 17 year old kid answered "warranty dept" and went on to explain to me that my warranty is about to run out. When I told him it ran out years ago, he said well we get notices either when it has run out or is about to (red flag #1). Now this is getting very interesting. Then he asked me the make and model of my vehicle which I told him and he explained how cars ALWAYS require MAJOR work to be done, etc, etc, and how much I need more warranty coverage,  eventually he got to the part of telling me I could pay 2000 lump sum for a 100000 mile extended warrnty or 750.00 installments. When I respecfully declined and told him I plan on driving my car til it completely dies and then buying a new one he went on to tell me something along the lines of "If you cant afford a warranty, then you cant afford a new car" (I had not said I couldnt afford this warranty just that I didnt wish to buy it). When I corrected him on that, he went on to tell me "Then you are making a BAD decision" (a good salesperson knows you never say such a thing to a potential customer!) Again I thanked him for his time and for his opinion and then he hung up on me! These people are at best unprofessional, poor telemarketers and at worst scam artists, plain and simple.

For the past two weeks I have been receiving calls at least once per day, sometimes more, from this number with a recorded message regarding a factory warranty.  After completely ignoring them for 2 weeks, they have now started to call on number that come up "unkown" with no number to compare.  I will try contact digitcom also.  Thanks for the info.

We have received phone calls from 562-289-8136 on a cell phone several times daily.  We don't pick up and they don't leave an answer.  We did pick up once and received a pre-recorded message about a "warranty" supposedly expiring on our vehicle.  However, we do not have a warrany for our vehicle.  Our local tv consumer advocate, Herb Weisbaum, says that this is a huge scam and gimmick.  BEWARE!

I've been getting calls from this number for weeks now and they won't stop - they call my work cell - Is there anything I can do?

They use an illegal dialer that dials random numbers and logs them if you pick up. This should be reported to the FCC. No one has sold my number because my number is new (never been used before because it's too high) and I haven't even called anyone yet.

I get phone calls from this number several times a day.  When I call back I hear that my number has been removed from the preferred callers list and then the phone hangs up on me.

Just got a call from them as well. I let it go into voicemail. They didn't leave a message.

I have been getting calls from this company on my cell phone for several months.  I listened to the whole message today.  At the end, it says "press 2 to be removed from our call list".  I pressed 2 and was disconnected!!!!

Read this, called the Digitcom number listed above and spoke to "Charlie" -- East Indian accent, obviously an off shore telemarketing operation.  He says I am now off their list.  Now out to the "Do Not Call" website to see if there is a mechanism for reporting them...

By the way, the ONLY way anyone could have gotten my cell from the internet is from one of the job posting boards.

Hope this helps.. I keep getting calls from these @#$# on my work cell and I hadn't registered it yet.  I have to wait 30 days after it was registered to do that.  So any that are getting the calls and already on it?  Complain!!!
